My wife and I have just returned from a fabulous meal at the Los Granainos Mijas. We had the Mussels and Anchovies for starter and the Tuna and Sword fish for mains and they were to “die for” but before we we had this the staff came with olives choritzio bread and bread sticks all with very like Garlic cream sauce which was yummie .The staff were just brilliant and for our first visit made us feel more than welcome …we go home (UK) in two days however my wife will definitely be back with her friends in May and then myself in June …..it’s definitely worth a try especially at...

The visit to this place was a disappointment. Overall, I rate the food as 2. The main reason for this was the dried fish (probably from the previous day) and, to my horror, the potatoes that had sprouts growing out of them. Moreover, the place is uninteresting in terms of decor. Rude service. We have been going here for about eleven years. The owner Miguel.and his wife are friendly, lively people. They treat is like family! Book if you want to be sure of a table. The menu del dia includes any beer, wine or soft drink, soup (homemade) or salad, followed by any of the amazing specials. You can also ask for any meat to be breaded and fried.
