Me and my girlfriend stopped by here on Friday night and was really looking forward to eating here as we always pass by, we ordered the mix grill for a minimum of 2 people at €32.50 pp and a bottle of house wine at €20 so €85 in total.when the food came it looked nice but when we tasted it it was lukewarm at the most so I told the waitress and even asked her to try it to show her how cold it was, so she took it back and returned saying they can reheat my food but it won't taste so nice and I will have to pay or I can eat it as it is and I only have to pay for drinks,so as I didn't want to pay for my meal to taste worse I opted to eat it cold and not pay, they then returned 10 minutes later and said actually we are going to reheat it and you have to pay,I said ok no problem, they then brought my meal back out and it was still cold ,by then I'd had enough and said I'm not eating this it's still cold I'll just pay for my drink and leave, the waitress then said well you've ate some I said yeah that's how I know it's cold it's the same as when you've just taken it to be reheated no more had been eaten, so then the manager comes out asking what my problem is so explained my problem isnt the food quality it's just cold I don't want to spend €85 on night out eating cold meat,he said that is the hottest it can leave the kitchen so just pay for your drink and leave and he took the plate and left, the food was warm there wasn't no heat coming from the meat at all it tasted nice what I tried just cold so I paid for my wine left the waitress a tip and went for a curry ../ edit of original review / I'm just adding to my original review as I've read the reply that we never told them straight away and we ate a large portion, both are wrong statements we did say straight away and we barely touched it im used to desi grills back home always hot...
Read moreI went to the restaurant a couple of days ago for dinner, I managed to get a table without a booking even thought the restaurant was quite busy probably because I was on my own. The staff were really friendly and helpful and the place had a nice buzz about it. I had the meatball starter with a tomato sauce which was fantastic, really tasty with some nice bread for dipping. I also ordered the spicy tomato dip which came with pide bread and was really tasty and not too spicy. The pide bread was good but I do prefer mine baked a little more crispy but that’s a small point. For the main course I had the chicken skewers which had loads of flavour and were very juicy and tasty and comes with a lovely dip. The meal was excellent and I thoroughly enjoyed it. The restaurant is a little more expensive than what I would consider the average for the area but you get what you pay for and the quality made it good value for money in my opinion. Would definitely recommend you give it a try and suggest booking if you plan on going at...
