Casa Jardín — Restaurant in Murcia

So went here last night 3/11/22 After reading mostly negative reviews

So walked in paid upfront - not bad €33 for 2 (first thought)

Nice place - mixed of people Food was ok 1st plate , awesome had snails 2nd plate ok again 3rd plate realised I was eating the same thing over again, there was only 2 food stands one was 4x rice, 1 x chicken sour, 1x beef, 1x mix veg

The other stand was literally random Snails, burnt to a crisp mini fish, nuggets,lasagna, chips, breaded fish etc

Was also cooking stations they was quick but nothing I fancied

Drinks was easy free refills just go up and refill ( annoying when on table sends one person to try and fill 4-6 glasses)

Food was ok to eat noting too impressive Would put the food to like a homeless shelter style

The deserts was ok small selection of around 6 different things

Ice cream well loads of tubs (mini) I had one and soon realised it was already open, went back and loads where ( possibly from just being thrown in rather then placed)

Overall was ok staff was friendly Interactive

Would I go again ........ probably not ... purely down to lack of...

All you can eat Chinese buffet, open for lunch and dinner. Monday - Friday lunch is €12.50 per person including unlimited soft drinks or beer. The restaurant is very large so not usually a problem walking in and being seated straight away. The food is good and there is lots of variety including a meat and seafood counter where you can choose and they cook it for you and serve to your table - just remember to take the small clip off your table menu and hand it in when you have chosen your food (they have your table number on). Good salad bar and desert bar including a chocolate fountain. You need to take your glass up to the bar for a refill of beer (as many times as you like !) The restaurant and toilets are very clean and tidy and there are lots of staff at hand if you need any help (I found the Spanish staff more friendly and helpful than the Chinese staff). There are 4 life size white horse statues at the far end of the restaurant ! A good place for dining alone, couples or large groups as you can easily get tables together for 10 or more people, high chairs are available...

prices are now €15.95 per head and only 1 beer but soft drinks still umlimited. same great selection of food from sushi to lasagna, chinese, Spanish. Meat, veg and seafood srill cooked to order on the argentian grill. Clams a great favourite of ours as is the duck pancakes although the hoisin squce could be better. Healthy salads too as well as fruit for pudding if you do not want the french toast and other delights on offer.

For me the food jndee the hot plates is not hot enough but i guess there is a balance to it getting too dry. But as i mainly go for the sushi and freshly grilled food it not too much of an issue.

So if you are looking for a eat as much as you want buffet with something for everyone then...
