METOO Sushi Buffet — Restaurant in Murcia

We won't be returning. After reading reviews of this being the best sushi in Murcia, we decided to give it a try, which was a huge mistake. We now know this is no where near the best sushi that can be found in Murcia. The sushi at the Carrefour mall just to the North is far superior, standard size and plenty of seafood variety. Don't waste your time or money here. While the food didn't taste terrible, it was just very tiny and of little quantity and quality. We'd order and get push back from the staff on each of our party wanting a piece of sushi, it was laughable. We ended up splitting almost everything we ordered. We ordered "almost" one of each dish, and still managed to leave disappointed and hungry from an all you can eat buffet. Another gripe would be the deceptive nature of the price. The menu price doesn't include the tax, which to their credit they clearly list on the menu as 14.95E and with IVA tax it's 16.45E, but nowhere were there rules listed about drinks, just that they are not included in the price. Apparently they are required to be purchased even if you don't want them. The staff said we had to purchase a 2 euro drink (water) with our meal for each person. This hidden cover tax inflates the cost of the buffet. So your meal is now more than 18E. There are many great buffets near by for much less. The value for what you get isn't worth it. There isn't much fish variety and the fish they do have is sliced so thinly you can almost see through it. Also the sushi rice bed under nigiri, the length and width are of sub-standard miniature size. Either the sushi chef has the smallest hands in the world, or they are really stretching their profits. Esta mañana me he despertado con un fuerte estruendo, ya no se si fue real o mi mente todavía tiene muy presente la experiencia vivida ayer mientras comíamos en #SushiMetoo de Murcia. Cuando veía como entraba el coche por la espalda de mi pareja y apenas me daba tiempo a girar el cuerpo para esquivar lo que venia, sentí impotencia, pánico y quien sabe qué más... ver a mi pareja tirarse al suelo para salvarse y yo tirando de él intentándo arrastrale para alejarnos de la escena en los primeros instantes en los que no sabes si es un atentado y va a explotar algo, van a entrar a atarcar o es solo un coche que ha perdido el control. Después de determinar que era solo un accidente, y verificar que no habia nadie malherido comenzamos a salir a la puerta para tomar aire, abrazarnos y tomar perspectiva mientras todo el cuerpo temblaba y nos saltaban las lágrimas porque todos estábamos vivos. En esos momentos tan traumáticos, sin llegar aun ni la policia ni ambulancia ni nada, el camarero salio para pedirnos a todos entrar a cobrarnos la cuenta. Cuando lo dijo por segunda vez, le dije que estaba siendo insensible y mostrando inatención a los clientes. Ni un vaso de agua. Otro camarero, español, se dio cuenta de la falta de tacto y comenzó a cuestionar y frenar a sus jefes. Despues de testificar ante policia nos cobraron la cuenta. Al dueño le expresé lo que pensaba. Sé que no volveré a un lugar que no prima cuidar a sus clientes y atenderles lo mejor posible mas allá del dinero a la vista de su reacción en una situación así. Yo era clienta habitual. Hace 7 meses publiqué una buena reseña de este local "La comida está muy buena y recién elaborada. El servicio es rápido y la calidad muy alta. Puedes pedir hasta que no puedas más. We loved this restaurant. The food was delicious with a great variety, the service was quick and friendly and it was very reasonably priced. If we had bought what we ate individually, it would have cost us about double the amount.
