Panadería Nybakat Bakery — Restaurant in Nerja

Mixed feelings on this place. Inside is modern, vibey, and sunny, lovely outdoor seating, and the cakes look seriously incredible.

But. We ordered two coffees and two cakes. Coffees were mainly hot milk and undrinkable. And the person behind the counter gave us the wrong order.

We didn’t realise till we’d stuck our forks in (they looked similar to what we asked for; a cardamon bun rather than cinnamon for example) and we deemed it too late to complain.

They were underwhelming and I think in a place with a higher price tag than local bakeries, both the experience and end product need to be better.

Usually would give this place 5 stars but sadly its not been up to scratch today. Been here many times , their bread is just the best around. Today 10 am we had a toasted sandwich for brunch, all the tables were dirty, nobody was cleaning them after people had been eating. Our food arrived to our dirty table and I had to ask for it to be cleaned, the young girl just looked at me. Our toasted sandwich was delicious as usual but my goodness it was tiny, much smaller than usual. I loved this bakery. Their produce is delicious and fresh. I went for breakfast and lunch with my 7 yr old. They don't really cater for children, I asked for a cheese sandwich as was advertised on a board but was told they were not making sandwiches and could only chose from pre made ones on display which was disappointing. However the ceasar salad I had was very good and my daughter loved the fresh smoothy so much she had it on both occasions that we visited. The prices are higher than what you'd expect for Spain, coffee and pastries in particular but you get what you pay for 👌🏻 the almond croissant was one of the best...
