Was passing with my son and they had the match on. We sat down and watched the match in what was an empty bar. Come half time what seemed like the restaurant owner/manager turned over the screen. I asked would the match we were watching come back on to his reply was ‘what’s happening?’ To my reply was’ it’s half time’ and I was just asking because if not I would move becuse my wife and other children were meeting us. He kind of shrugged and someone at the bar said it would be back on. Then as the game was in extra time, Albiet the team we was supporting was getting beat 3-0 he again just turned it over. I just found it really rude and like he wanted to show his power. I left so confused because we were the only people interested in the tv. I wouldn’t mind if we’re a rowdy bunch of men and he wanted us out, but it was just me and my family watching a game in a quiet bar buying drinks.
I know this isn’t much of a review on the food etc but when I see a place run like this by a manager/owner who likes to show his power and upset customers you can guess how the staff and kitchen...
Read moreAbsolutely amazing place! The paella was the best I’ve ever had- full of flavor and perfectly cooked. We were also pleasantly surprised by the complimentary cocktail, it was incredibly delicious! The staff were wonderful: very friendly, welcoming, and attentive. I would definitely come back and recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting this place ❤️❤️❤️
As I’ve told - we came back.Unfortunately, our second visit to this restaurant was a big disappointment. The service was very slow — it took around 15 minutes just to get the wine. Despite having dinner for over €70 (including the most expensive dish on the menu — the lobster soup), no complimentary drinks were offered to us, while guests at the next table who only had one cocktail each received a complimentary drink from the restaurant.
What really ruined the experience was that when we were about to leave, we noticed several cockroaches near our table. 😬😩 Definitely not what you expect from a place that seemed so promising on the...
Read moreThe first time I went to this restaurant I actually liked it. It was clean, food was acceptable and we were served by a lovely waitress (Estafania). I thought I found my new favorite place in Burriana, but unfortunately the second time was a disappointment. At least half the mussles that were served weren't properly debearded. It was disgusting. When I complained to the waitress, the manager/owner overheard and said that "they come like that"! Yes, and chicken come with feathers, but you don't serve them with their feathers! I don't know if he's ignorant and has never eaten mussels before or he thought he was being "smart". As a restaurant manager he should have apologized and offered to replace the dish. He's either clueless or he thinks "tourist" customers are clueless. Either case, bad service. I recommend that both the cook and the manager watch a YouTube video on how to debeard mussles. And while the manager is at it, he should also learn a thing or two on proper...
