REVIEW IN SPANISH. ENGLISH BELOW.

Also on the Camino de Santiago, you can try a different option, aside from traditional Spanish food, in this case at a charming and picturesque Mexican restaurant that is very much in line with 'the current trends in decoration' for Mexican places.
The service was quite good, and orders were digitalized. I should mention that the ordering is done through an app that turns out to be a very efficient system. They respect the order of requests, which speeds up the service. Don't go with too much hurry if you're planning to eat and you're there during pilgrimage season because they have quite a lot going on. Even so, the service is quick.
For pilgrims who need to stamp their Camino credential, the restaurant's stamp is made of wax with multiple designs and will look great in your Camino de Santiago passport.
There are interesting dishes, and some stray from the usual tacos we are accustomed to, but you definitely have all the Mexican and Tex-Mex formats you expect to find: tacos, quesadillas, enchiladas, and nachos.
Moment for constructive criticism: The star that the restaurant loses is due to the margaritas; they should fill the cocktail glass all the way up. Margaritas are served to the top, not like a wine glass, and I think they need to review their micheladas—it’s a point I think they can improve.
Still, we enjoyed the food, the service was good, and the quality-price ratio was acceptable. It’s another option to add a different flavor to one of your meals. It’s a good choice for lovers of...
Read moreLabor day and almost all shopping and dining on holiday also. Lucky to drop in a Mexican bistro serving a wide range of cuisine from Mexico to US and, of course, local faves. Ordered Feylina, locally raised chicken fillet sandwich, guachiiturro burger with 150 gms of galician beef, fried egg, cheese, jalapeno and bacon both on brioche bread. Both came with fried potato wedges lightly salted and choices of dip- we had honey mustard and chipotle mayonesa. A side order of lettuce tomato and onion completed dinner. All delightful, tasty and quite filling. Service was quick and hitech-menu and ordering system via qr code or tablet attached to a table. Place exude energy and fun enlivened by upbeat music, bedecked with colorful picados and calaveras. Owner, Fabian, is hands on and actively serving-a transplant from Mexico City thriving in O Pedrouzo. A welcoming oasis after a...
Read moreFun, festive stop along the Camino, with very friendly staff. Was excited about the prospect of good Mexican food as a switch up usual stops along the route.
Unfortunately one of the more disappointing meals I’ve had and the worst Mexican food I’ve had in a restaurant.
Everything is overpriced for what is cheap, quickly prepared food. I don’t see how you can put out a plate of cold store-bought tortilla chips with processed cheese and guacamole and charge €12 for it. Most dishes were completely bland with not a hint of lime, cilantro, chili, or salsa. Chicken was ok, avoid the pork which is totally greasy. Tacos served with a slice of cheese instead of shredded.
Could so easily be improved by using real tortilla chips and cheese, homemade guacamole, and some...
