Turned up for lunch after walking 20km. Told the waiter/chef, who was standing outside the empty restaurant, I am vegetarian and asked what I could have. He suggested a simple salad, followed by spaghetti with tomato sauce, as part of the menu del dia. The salad was brought out covered with tuna. I gave it to my husband, to have with his paella. The lukewarm, overcooked spaghetti arrived - thank goodness I had salt and pepper in my bag. It tasted like no name brand spaghetti from a tin. The pizzas are okay if a bit crispy, but the two things which let it down are the staff and the service. Our waitress was mute to the point that I thought she had a speech problem (we speak Spanish so it wasn't a language barrier and she was seen chatting to another staff member later). The pizza is baked in a traditional style, thin crust, with a delicious regional cheese. They also have a delicious paella, hamburgers, salads, and so much more.
