Worse experience of the whole trip. 19/05/25:-Woman with long black hair, behind the bar area, totally ignored us while serving others. When I tried to order drinks she said that they were closed. It was 4pm. She didn’t even try to explain. Just kept saying the same thing over and over again. Finally, she explained that the restaurant was closed until 7pm. This was NOT a misunderstanding on her part. She was being passively aggressive. All the time it felt like she did not want to serve us. When we asked if a table could be reserved for that evening she said it was FULL. We walked away not believing her. It was clear that she made it up as she went along. Out of curiosity we passed by at about 8.30pm and the place was almost empty. Tables available outside and in. I read a review which implied presujice towards non Spanish pilgrims and I agree. 20/05/25 Breakfast included in our booking and sadly we had to return to Che 4. This time the serving staff were lovely but overworked. Whoever owns this bar/restaurant needs to instil a better attitude and employ more staff. The lovely young woman who was taking orders for breakfast was doing the best she could but she needed help!!! She was the only saving grace. Sunny smile and warm...

Food was good but the service was beyound terrible. Ordered wine, never came, waiting for dessert, friend tried to order inside, not possible. The lady came to our table, delivered plates to the people next to us but did not even look at us. I went inside and asked for desert l not possible, "they will take your order" that was 30 min(!) ago and still nobody came. Total wait time 60 min now. Finally. I wanted a carajillo which would cost 6.50 (insane, normally it is between 1.50 and 2.50. However, the coffee is included in the menu and a chupito (shot) of the same brandy so I will have my carajillo for 2.50 instead of 6.50. What a disgrace this place, and the Spanish people at our table do...

Absolutely terrible. Stopped for a pilgrim's menu at 15 euros. The service was appalling, the food cold (as in fridge cold, not just cool). Had to send back both croquettes and chicken. They willingly replaced the first course, but we asked them not to replace the second course as we'd had enough by then. The food itself was poor quality - the asparagus starter was from a tin and it looked like someone had just thrown a dollop of mayonnaise on the plate. We are not usually complainers, but this is the worst place we've ever eaten anywhere. They insisted on charging half the pilgrim menu rate for one course plus a drink. Sadly, unpleasant, start to finish....

It’s been a long Camino season so I want to assume the best, that the people serving are just tired of Pilgrims and ready for a break. It’s a huge bunch… I get it. Nonetheless, the servers are short/rude, and you get the feeling like they’re talking smack about you. The two tarts that we got were okay, with one being 3 out of 5 and the other a big fat zero. Dry, no flavor, and in my opinion, overpriced. Almost two month is Spain and this shop was our worst experience. So, could be worse I guess! Hopefully you have/had a better experience than we did.

Lamentable.
