We have passed by this place many times when heading to and back from the La Zenia mall and finally decided to give it a try one Saturday night. The restaurant was full house during our visit and despite being a chilly weather outside, it gets pretty warm inside. The interior was very posh and elegant, presumably set within the New York 1920s era catered to the elite groups. Menu had a wide variety of Asian-Fusion cuisine which was very different from the other places in Spain. We would highly recommend to try the Korean Salad (tho the dressing seemed to have a mix of wasabi) and the Fried Japanese Chicken. The dumplings were rather ordinary and there were several things which werent available during the night of our visit. Cocktails seemed to be a specialty here however I'd recommend to stick to the classic range as we ordered the Toa Of Pooh (milky Malibu-like taste), Zombie (mainly jagermeister) and Aviation cocktail which turned out to be rather strange for our liking. The dessert was recommended by the waitress which turned out perfect, it was something with the base of salted caramel chocolate mousse. Would definitely recommend to visit the place if you are an adventure seeker looking to experience something different!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Browns Restaurant and Cocktail Bar exceeded all expectations! We were introduced to this gem by our son Harry and his girlfriend Ava, who had raved about it after dining here four times during their stay with us. Our culinary adventure started with the delectable sweet potato and goat cheese croquettes - a burst of flavor that set the tone for the evening. The Chateaubriand blonde steak, cooked to a perfect medium, was a melt-in-the-mouth experience paired beautifully with truffle mash, a medley of vegetables, and a luscious peppercorn sauce complemented by a rich red wine jus. The pièce de résistance was the chocolate fondant, a divine creation that left our taste buds dancing with joy. And let's not forget the cocktails - they were nothing short of amazing, adding an extra layer of delight to an already fantastic meal. The ambience was cozy, the service impeccable, and the staff were attentive without being intrusive. Browns has earned its place as a top recommendation in our book, and we can't wait to return for another exceptional dining experience.

Very rare I add such a bad review but this was the worst dining experience I have had in years. As a vegan I have low expectations but did ask prior to visiting if I could be catered for and yes there were 3 dish options (not amazing but at least an option) I chose to combine the Turkish flatbread and hummus starter with the heirloom tomato salad which is "supposed" to be a main . They brought octopus instead of hummus . Then did not bring the hummus. Asked twice where it was and never came. The salad was the biggest joke of all. Literally 2 sliced tomatoes and 6 skinned cherry tomatoes with an overly oily and bland dressing. 13.90€ is an absolute embarrassment. Asked if any options for dessert. Told a flat no. Not even fruit? Even a chef of such bad calibre that's clearly employed here can chop some fruit, no? Obviously not. Staff slow and ignorant. Service abysmal. Restaurant freezing cold. Overall one of the worst dining experiences I have had in Spain. If I could rate 0 stars I would . Definitely the most overrated place in the area.

Browns Restaurant – Overpriced & Underwhelming

During a recent trip to Cabo Roig, we revisited Browns Restaurant, a place we’d enjoyed in the past but hadn’t visited in years. Unfortunately, this return visit left us deeply disappointed.

First Impressions Located near La Zenia roundabout, Browns has a stylish, modern-rustic charm with cozy furnishings in a bar setting. However, the atmosphere leaned more toward "pub grub" than “fine dining”, especially with drinkers sitting at the bar. We usually sit on their lovely terrace, but due to unseasonably cold March weather, we dined inside.

Service: Shockingly Poor From the moment we arrived, the staff’s indifference was glaring. The host barely acknowledged us, and our server was outright grumpy, acting as though we were an inconvenience. Basic requests (like salt and pepper) were ignored, forcing us to scavenge from nearby tables. For a restaurant charging premium prices, this level of neglect is unacceptable.

Food: Overpriced & Underwhelming The menu is exorbitantly priced, but we’re happy to pay for quality, if it delivers. Sadly, Browns fell short: Starters were Karaage & Tuna Tartare. Excellent, crispy, fresh, and flavourful. The meal’s only highlight.

For main course we had steaks €42.90 for 400g Ribeye, €38 for Chateaubriand, which were mediocre at best. Tough, lacking depth of flavour, and nowhere near the quality expected at these prices. The real kick is the Hidden Costs:. Fries were €6 and Sauce was €3 - a blatant rip-off for €40+ steaks in Spain. I thought I had landed on Stephens Green in Ireland.

Final Bill: €136.90 for Regret With four bottled waters, the total was outrageous for what we received. Subpar food and abysmal service.

Verdict: Never Again Browns Restaurant prioritises style over substance. Between the unfriendly staff, overpriced dishes, and add-on charges, this was one of our worst dining experiences in Spain. Save your money and your patience for somewhere that values its customers.

We had five people on February 28th to celebrate our friend's birthday. To be clear, I visited the place a week earlier, met the head waiter, looked at the situation and looked good. He told me to order the table online. I said I wanted a certain roundtable, table number 5. He said it, and I also asked for a decoration on the table for his birthday. I immediately went to the website and finalized the number 5 table on Monday, February 28th at 8:30 p.m. I later received confirmation that the order was confirmed. We arrived at the time in question, at 8:30 p.m. Then we were told that table number 5 was already sitting. I showed the waiter the confirmation, but he just shook his head and said someone else had already ordered the table before us. We then got a table at the end of the venue right next to the bar. It was ok except for the loud sizzle music that came out of the bar. We ordered dinner and wine with him. The food was great, but the service was pretty unconscious. It doesn't work well in such an expensive restaurant when the waiter barely knows how to open a bottle of wine and they don't know who ordered what when the food was served. There was no birthday decoration on the table as requested and nothing was done to make the birthday guest happy, not even he was congratulated. Browns Cocktailbar is not a cheap place and professionalism needs to be made and made promises. We paid the bill, but oh my God no tips because they didn't deserve it. But the cooks in the kitchen know their stuff. Great food and well-chosen wine saved what was saved. Two star for...

One of the weirdest restaurants experience I have ever made. First of all I have to say that I‘m always trying to avoid complaining about something because it’s really out of my comfort zone but this time I had to do it twice. The first time we got some bread as a starter with some butter in little plastic cups like those you get in cheap hotels at breakfast. The tables around us got fancy homemade butter so I asked the waiter why we got the cheap one. He told me they run out of butter which couldn’t be true because the people around us arrived after us and I told him so. After that we somehow also got the butter he just told me they don’t have anymore. Then we ordered a Medium done Wagyu steak. It came well done so we asked if it’s possible to get a medium steak. The waiter didn’t hesitate and brought us a new one. After we were finished he told us we have to pay for both steaks and asked if we want to take the first one home. We asked nicely for the manager to find a solution. They brought us the „first“ steak and together with the manager we unpacked the steak to look if our complain was necessary or not and as unbelievable as it sounds the steak we got „back“ was perfectly cocked…. We would have never ever complained about a steak like that. All that means that they really threw the first one away, made two new ones and let us pay for both. Nonetheless the drinks were all perfekt! Still wouldn’t visit again. (This was 2 years ago. Just saw it didn’t upload so I...
