Visited Makai Cafe on 30th Dec. Opted for the Makai breakfast and a white coffee. As with so many places the coffee came out warm at best and I could've downed it in one go if I had wanted. I suspect their coffee machine can't get it any hotter. As for the breakfast, that was pretty disappointing. Firstly it came with 2 slices of under cooked toast and only one butter (I know I can ask for more but I shouldn't have to) The sausage was nice, (Cumberland style) pot of hot beans, fried mushrooms were very greasy, hash brown was nice. Full breakfast was good with the exception of the eggs. Some people might like an egg with still half the white uncooked never mind the yolk but my other half isn't one of them. Ask for well done eggs if you're not keen either. Otherwise, well worth a visit!!
