Duvel Belgian Lunchbar — Restaurant in Orihuela

Came here for lunch. The food was excellent and portion sizes were generous. The selection of cakes looked lovely but we had no room left to try after our panini and chips. We plan to visit again during our short stay here. The waiters were lovely young men, very friendly and polite, only little criticism was then when we entered the restaurant we were not greeted/acknowledged, so stood awkwardly for a few minutes before heading to the bar to ask for a table, I think its probably expected that you just take your own seat. There is no aircon, but there were some ceiling fans, which helped a little. They have the menu written in several languages, which was very helpful. The decor was not to my taste a bit too basic but it was nice enough. It's definitely worth a visit for a very tasty, very reasonably...

Arrived and ordered a panini and a baguette, two Belgian waffles with strawberry and cream for our kids. I mentioned when I ordered the waffles if they have strawberries as is was (season depending) no remarks. We ordered within the first five minutes being here.

Then we waited for 40 minutes to receive a baguette a panini and the information that there were no strawberries.

The waiter blamed the chefs when we raised our questions. We were baffled, why it took so long time to get back to us or even serve something as simple as a panini and baguette.
