Restaurante Miso — Restaurant in Orihuela

We decided to give Miso a go last night we pass it so often and kept saying we’d go but I had looked at some of the reviews when it first opened and they were not all good so we waited for it to settle down. What a lovely interior the design is very elegant and you’re not all on top of each other. We were greeted with a lovely smile from the staff and were offered different tables for us to choose from. We were not rushed to order which was good as there’s so much to choose from. We ordered three dishes to share between the two of us for starters and we were not disappointed. We ordered lamb skewers, salt & pepper crispy chicken and sesame prawns. The food was lovely and we were already talking about what we’d order on our next visit. The really nice thing is when our waitress came to clear the table she asked if we wanted our mains straight away or have a little break. That in itself was good as Chinese is so filling and we’ve been to others that are putting the mains down as they’re clearing the table. As normal we ordered too much but everything was delicious, it was hot as served with a lovely smile and a little banter from the waiter. We ordered beef & mushrooms, aromatic duck, egg fried rice & vegetable noodles all worth waiting for. The bill was very reasonable the waitress also asked if it was our first visit as she didn’t recognise us as being there before. Some more banter from the waiter and we went on our way. A beautiful Gem.

Myself and my family went to Miso for a family meal out. Amongst the well kept and tidy entrance. A lot more was there to be said for the interior. As you walk in. You are greeted by a modern. Chrome interior with reflective ceilings and amazing lights. Trully a splendor. Upon arrival to our table, we were greeted by the Waiter who took our drinks orders and provided us with the menu. The choices were plenty including their own sushi menu too. We ordered sharer starters and for mains. We had the house special rice as well as a variety of meat dishes incliding sizzling beef in black bean sause, and the beef in mushroom and bamboo leaves. We were then greeted by the house robot named 'Maria' welcoming jingle, it was a delight to see and the kids absolutely loved it. The Waiter took a family photo of us and seemed like nothing was too much hassle for the team at Miso. The prawns were spectacular and upon arrival of our mains. We had enough food to feed us all. The food was stunningly well presented and tasted just as well as it looks. Needless to say, it was by far the best chinese cuisine experience we had whilst out in sunny Spain. The owner even came out to greet us and joined in our family photo, we trully all felt part of the family at Miso and will be...

We were seated straight away and after a couple of minutes our drinks order was taken. The drinks arrived shortly after. Our food order was taken and the meals arrived after about 5 minutes. The meals were good. The plates were cleared and we were given desert menus. That's when the service totally failed...no one came round to take our order and eventually we caught the attention of a waiter and he said that he would be back....he never returned despite walking past our table several times. We then went to the bar and ordered deserts!!! These arrived after about 10 minutes but after being seated and finishing our main course after 30 to 35 minutes we waited an hour to get deserts and coffee and our bill.
