My partner and myself were very lucky to find this fantastic local run restaurant by a husband and wife serving delicious and amazing tasty local Canary and Spanish food.

Nacho, who runs the front of house is very friendly and welcoming on arrival and has a great knowledge of the food and wine they have on the menu. We asked for a local wine to go with our dinner and after a few questions from Nacho he recommended an excellent local wine, and I have to say the best I had in the whole week I was on the island.

The menu choices and options are great and all the food is fresh and cooked to order. I had the Octopus with creamed potatoes as my main, on the 2 occasions we ate there, and I can honestly say it was amazing. I would also recommend the goat cheese salad, and octopus salad, delicious!

In an excellent location on the sea front with a view of the lighthouse.

I highly recommend you come and visit this restaurant upstairs on the terrace level above the shops, you will not be disappointed you did.

I will definitely be back when I next visit Morro Jable in Fuerteventura.

¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡CUIDADO A LAS PERSONAS INTOLERANTES O ALERGICAS CON ESTE RESTAURANTE¡¡¡¡¡¡ Estuvimos cenando en este restaurante el pasado día 27/07/2024. Fuimos con dos personas celiacas (mi hijo y mi sobrina), confirmando con el establecimiento que controlan la intolerancia al gluten perfectamente. En la carta se indicaba que las tortillitas de camarones contenían gluten. Aun así, lo consultamos con el camarero y nos dice que, aunque en la carta aparece que contiene gluten nos afirma que dichas tortillitas están realizadas con harina de garbanzo, pero no se ha actualizado en la carta y que por tanto son aptas para celíacos. Mi hijo se pidió una ración que contienen 4 tortillitas de camarones, asegurando NUEVAMENTE con el camarero que eran sin gluten, cosa que confirma ROTUNDAMENTE. Salimos del restaurante sobre las 22:54. A las 2 de la mañana, mi hijo se despierta con vómitos, por lo que tuvimos que acudir a urgencias del Centro de Salud de Morro Jable, donde se le aplica el tratamiento adecuado para aliviar los síntomas que se mantuvieron hasta el día siguiente. Ante esta situación acudimos al establecimiento al siguiente día, sospechando que las TORTILLITAS DE CAMARONES contenían gluten, ya que, los síntomas que presentaba mi hijo coincidían con los que tiene cuando consume gluten. Al llegar al establecimiento, solicitamos al camarero que nos mostrara el paquete de la harina con el que se hicieron las tortillitas. Nos refiere a la cocinera, la señora Sara Fernández, que desde la cocina (porque ni se dignó a salir), nos dice que no puede mostrarnos el paquete porque tiene el restaurante “a tope” y que volviéramos a la hora de cierre, refiriendo que para enseñarnos el paquete de harina tiene que “desmontar media cocina”. Volvemos a insistir en que nos mostrara el paquete, porque no íbamos a volver a las 12 de noche después de la noche que habíamos pasado. Se sigue negando, insistiendo nuevamente que tiene que desmontar media cocina, cosa que nunca entendimos, por lo que le solicitamos la hoja de reclamaciones. Ahí si salió de la cocina y perdió unos 40 minutos intentado convencernos de que volviéramos más tarde. Rellenamos la hoja de reclamaciones y nos dice que tenemos que esperar a leerla para sellarla. INCREÍBLE CON EL CURRO QUE TENÍA (según ella), nos sella el documento y me pone una “coletilla” en un documento ya firmado por mi hijo, alucinado salimos del establecimiento después de 1 hora. Le hubisese dado tiempo a “desmotar” la cocina para mostrarnos el DICHOSO PAQUETE DE HARINA. Pero está claro que esas tortillitas están realizadas con TRIGO y por lo tanto NO SON APTAS PARA CELIACOS, motivo por lo que lo “escondía”. A mi hijo le diagnosticaron la celiaquía con 1 año de edad y a partir de entonces no ha ingerido gluten, a excepción de en los restaurantes que como este no tienen NI IDEA de lo que supone ingerir gluten para las personas celiacas, y si lo conocen son unos VERDADEROS IRRESPONSABLES. Se trata de un tema de SALUD por lo que se debe ser muy ESTRICTO con estos temas y si no lo controlan, mejor nos lo dicen y nos vamos a otro sitio. Además de pasar la mala noche causada por la IRRESPONSABILIDAD de esta señora debimos soportar su MALA EDUCACIÓN, PREPOTENCIA y FALTA DE...

super slow service. the waiters were unprofessional. the octopus was supposed to be grilled (based on the menu) but it was deep fried (therefore extra oily)

LATER EDIT: the reply you gave is talking 90% about the tables situations while the majority of us complained about the food quality. just because we ate it (as we were very hungry and not promoting food waste) doesn’t not mean it was enjoyable and lived up to the menu description. you cannot describe something as being “grilled” and bring a super oily deep fried meal.
