Brunchit — Restaurant in Palma

Came to this establishment excited to have brunch only to be encountered with rude customer service. The man at the door told us to wait 15-20 mins for a table of 4 and so we went to a table across the restaurant to wait. When we realised that he was seating people although we were ahead we went back and asked him why he was doing so as we were ahead of those people. He then started saying it’s our fault we walked away and that we should have waited at the door. This was very confusing because he let us walk away to sit down and wait and didn’t make it clear that we had to wait at the door of the restaurant. When we made our concerns clear to him he started saying “hola hola” in a very condescending and rude manner. It felt very hostile and racist and the only thing that saved him from us walking away was his female co worker who was so nice that stepped in and from then on the service was good with her. Food was great I did enjoy the eggccelent and pancakes. Please train your staff properly to deliver customer service that’s good to all backgrounds. We are in the 21st century I don’t understand why I was treated badly because of the colour of my skin being darker than...

Oh what fun it was to dine here and to start your day with beautiful beautiful food… We had to wait for a while as its a very busy place but i feel that it was all worth. Georgia helped us with the quick serve of food and drinks and warm hospitality. Their egg benedict greens is a must and is to die for…the perfectly poached eggs on top avocados and perfectly made brioche bread with the hollandaise sauce working with it like cherry on top is mesmerising ,accompanied by a rich green salad and tomatoes with just a hint of a brown sauce (maybe soy sauce) that they used only for garnishing. The eggcellent was a perfect combination of poached eggs,brioche and salmon … giving it a smoky comfort.

The salty pancakes were were fluffy and very strangely went beautifully with scrambled eggs which was very delightful surprise.

We ordered a bunch of different kinds of cold coffees and none of them disppointed.

This is a really cute place that with a good brunch. We ordered the vegan pancakes, which the server told us, this meant they didn’t come with meat, not that the pancakes were free of meat product (for me this was great cus I’m not vegan). This was confusing because everywhere else in the world this means there would be no meat products in the pancake. If you’re a vegan clarify this. We also ordered the Lombak smoothie (delicious), an orange juice, a side of eggs and bacon.

The service was lacking. No one took names at the hostess station, we had to wait in line in the sun and 90 degree heat for over 30 minutes to get a seat. There’s shade nearby, it would have been nice if they took names and we could have gone to wait in the shade. Once seated it was about 10 minutes before our server took our order and another 5-7 before he brought us the water we asked for. There was also no AC inside.

The food was worth going back for. But I wouldn’t go back there if they continue to make people stand and...
