La Bella Italia — Restaurant in Palma

Mixed feelings about this place, when I walked into this venue I got the feeling I just stepped into someones backyard. Such a chill vibe, very spaceious and it seems like everybody was just enjoying the weather and to share a meal with friends. I ordered an Hawaiian Pizza but then it all went south. I never got the impression the staff paid any attention to me and the wait for my food was very long. Everytime you’ll see a pizza going to another table you’ll think they ordered after you. Suddenly there was a black-out but I have got the impression it happens quite often.

After waiting and waiting I still wasn’t sure if they forgot about me and started to search for other pizzaplaces in the area. Then, finally it arrived, no apologees of explenation of the wait. If they could tossed the pizza from the kitchen to my table they probably would have.

Foodwise it was very good and worth the money, and so is the location and atmosphere but the service was so bad it was like an tackle from behind to the whole experience. Such a shame, it could have been so...

Hemos ido 2 personas a comer. El servicio mucha experiencia pues no tenía, una de las camareras ni se ha acercado a la mesa si no que desde abajo nos ha "incrustado" el plato con los cubiertos literalmente en la mesa, sin ver que mi movil estaba ahí y me ha puesto el plato encima. Hemos pedido pan con alioli. El alioli estaba bastante líquido y algo salado. Y el pan era goma de mascar. En verano y mas en días como hoy de 35 grados, el pan se pone gomita enseguida, con esta humedad no lo puedes dejar cortado o reutilizar de otra mesa de clientes que ha sobrado. Al pedir cambiarnos el pan, la primera respuesta de la camarera ha sido "No, es de hoy" a lo que le he dicho, perdona pero esto no se puede comer. Podéis al menos meterlo en el horno un poco? Al final han traído el pan recalentado al horno y se ha disculpado que es que era el resto de otro pan antiguo. Pero la primera respuesta ha sido NO. Ponerse a la defensiva no es lo mas ideal, cuando se pide bien. La bruschetta... no estaba mal, sosa. El tomate tendría que ser el que se le pone a la brusquetta, rojizto, jugoso y con sabor, porque según que tomates no tienen sabor. Y este no tenia. Pero da igual, estaba mas o menos bien. Platos principales: Una de las peores boloñesas que hemos probado, de verdad y lo siento. Eso no estaba ni cocido el tomate. Salsa de tomate, passata, sabía a tomate crudo de lata típico. Sin terminar de hacer, a lo rápido y con un pelin de carne que no se veía. Era pasta con salsa de tomate y caldosa porque la pasta nadaba en agüilla de tomate. Muy insípida además. Hemos tenido que echar bastante sal y aún así no lo hemos podido acabar. El otro principal eran linguine con espinacas y gambas. Lo único que sabía a algo eran las gambitas congeladas. Los linguini igual de sosos, salsa de tomate passata igual sin terminarse de hacer, sabor a crudo y sin nada de sal. Toda la tarrina de parmesano para que sepa a algo, en el momento que me he quedado sin parmesano ya no me lo he podido terminar porque sabía a nada. Las coca colas al menos eran de coca cola. Jeje Nos ha llamado la atención por fuera porque tenía buena pinta y el sitio estaba guay. Pero el servicio es seco. La comida no es italiana original como la ofrecen. Ojo que el de cocina era un señor italiano, por eso no hemos llegado a entender como ha podido hacer una boloñesa tan mala. Nos sabe mal, el precio no estaba mal pero la calidad del lugar es para turismo del arenal. Y nosotros no somos turistas, lo hemos buscado a proposito para ir. Por desgracia...

Wir waren gestern mit 8 Personen essen und hatten vorher reserviert. Die ersten Getränke ließen etwas länger auf sich warten. Die Vorspeise Brot mit Aioli und Oliven ließen auf einen guten Abend hoffen. Nach mehrfacher Nachfrage kamen dann auch die bestellten Pizzen nach fast 2 Stunden. Das Nudelgericht wurde komplett vergessen und vom Koch dann innerhalb von 5 Minuten nachgerotzt, anders kann ich es nicht sagen, denn die Sauce war total verwässert und das Gericht ziemlich geschmacklos, von den Trüffeln und dem Rinderfilet hatte man sich leider sehr viel mehr erhofft. Die bestellten Herbas wurden von der Bedienung auch untereinander vertauscht und der Fehler wurde uns zugeschoben. Irgendwann hatten wir dann die Schnauze voll, und die Bedienung stellte uns die Kiste mit der Rechnung auf den Tisch, wir sollten uns das doch schließlich selbst auseinander rechnen. Für uns alle war es definitiv das erste und letzte Mal im La Bella Italia gewesen.

Sehr geehrtes Bella Italia Team, glauben Sie mir, dass ich meine Zeit im Urlaub sehr gerne anders verbringe, als irgendwelche Rezensionen zu schreiben! Unwahrheiten? Es ist also nicht wahr, dass wir 2 Stunden auf unser Essen gewartet haben, und erst nach erneuter Nachfrage die Pizzen für uns gemacht wurden, während um uns herum alle Gäste ihre Bestellung schon bekommen haben, obwohl sie nach uns bestellt haben? Leider hatte ich direkten Blick auf die Zubereitung meiner Nudeln und habe also mitbekommen, wie das Essen auf die Schnelle zubereitet wurde. Im Herbas fehlte nicht das Eis, sondern mir wurde ein süßer anstatt eines halbsüßen gereicht, was ja gar nicht schlimm gewesen wäre, wenn man uns nicht diesen Fehler angelastet hätte und nicht gesagt hätte, dass wir den schon irgendwie unterbringen. Ich schreibe auch hier nur über meine subjektive Erfahrung, und vielleicht war es nur ein Einzelfall, für mich halt...
