Playa de Palma — Attraction in Palma

Palma beach of Mallorca, thinking of going there.... Hmmm, better not as there are many beaches around Mallorca you can enjoy than this one. Unless you are a youth, wanting to party at night and enjoy the sun in the daytime, then you can consider this beach. Things you need to be aware of are: Beach bed and umbrella: The beach bed and umbrella are not free! Some are €5-€6 and others charge higher which cost €20, €10 for an umbrella. Isn't it ridiculous? The cost that you pay is for a day and there is no option for hourly or half a day. Drawbacks: since the beach is public, you pay for the beachbed and umbrella with a front good view of the beach, you might not get that. Someone can place their umbrella in front of you, block your view and sand blows on your face when they stand up e! Trick: If you want to have it free for a few hours you can go there before 1200 noon or 11:00 because the collector is not there yet. Otherwise, you can step away from it and go swimming because they cannot find you. Basically, you don't have to pay if they come to you and you can walk away with your stuff.

We are still wondering where the money goes because we could not find the company attached to it even though we tried to find it online via Google. However, it is not a scam when searched via Google. If you want to pay, just be wise too. You can support the payment for the municipality who is maintaining the beach probably but who knows where the...

Very busy beach. There are infinite number of bars, restaurants and stores. I must say, the restaurants are top notch - just check reviews to filter out the bad ones.

70% of tourists are Germans, so you see a lot of german bars and restaurants. Mostly young people coming to party. Almost no people with small children.

Ive never met with so many inconsiderate people, than here. Everyday somebody close to us was blasting their remote speakers on the beach. Each 2 minutes are walking around local sellers with sunglasses, hats and mats, as well as offers for fresh coctails.

Water clarity 6-7/10. Disappointed. Maybe we did not had luck. We got quite big waves one time, which was superb. Also the sea is very shallow, maybe 70m to get...

Was staying here for 10 days, for me great beach, very nice and clean water, usually a bit windy after 11 am, on some days more on some less, but was ok. But there were to annoying things, first are sellers on the beach - mojito / sangria, massage,... On some times like every 5 minutes one comes by yelling... Another, young uncivilized German tourists (in football shirts...), sorry, but very annoying, mostly groups of young boys, man, drinking, yelling, listening loud music... And probably along whole Playa de Palma beach. Definitely it is not a beach to relax... Too bad, as nobody also seems to do anything about it (like local authorities).
