El Jardín de las Maravillas — Restaurant in Palma

We just had a bad experience there. The food is tasty, but if you're a tourist, like most people probably are, they will try to rob/deceive you. So we were 6 persons (one of which didn't eat anything). After taking our order, they brought us one small bawl of olives, garlic sauce and bread. Without asking if we want it and without saying anything about paying it. How nice, right? Well No! We ended up being charged FIVE times!! for something we didn't order! When we asked why, they said because we ate it. We obviously ate it, because we thought it was free and they were being hospitable. I repeat, they didn't ask us if we wanted this appetizer. They just brought it and put it on our table. And later explained that this is what they do in Spain. I doubt it. And I doubt that there's a country in the EU where they bring you food you did not order and then charge you for it. Very disappointing experience, unfortunately. I don't...

They don't speak english. I was alone and ordered paella and beer. At the entrance there is a large sign saying 16e and they counted two times plus beer and I don't know what else because I didn't order anything more but the bill was higher than twice paella and beer. I feel cheated and pulled over. Paella times two, a beer and I don't know where any additional payment is coming from. It is not possible to pay by card. Nice atmosphere, food OK but for me it is a simple scam because if there is no option for one person, it should be written that it costs...

Absolutely the Best Shop in Mallorca! I had an amazing experience here – hands down the best place on the island. The fish and seafood were incredibly fresh and full of flavor. The sangria? One of the best I’ve ever had – perfectly balanced and refreshing.
