Another place we found through extensive research on Google and Instagram, after a disappointing experience we had the previous night in Palma we had very high hopes! I'm happy to report we were not disappointed! When we arrived we were greeted by a very friendly face who showed us to a nice table by the window. Shortly after another friendly waiter came over to take the drinks order, we spotted an Albariño on the menu so we were definitely ordering that. He said that unfortunately they had run out, but came back a few minutes later with some good news that he had found another bottle. He poured us a couple of glasses and it was a very good example of Albariño, lots of body and stone fruits with a touch of salty savoury-ness. Already the tone was set perfectly and we were excited to try the food. The first waiter came over to tell us about the specials, they had a prawn carpaccio, the turbot, and the sea breem on that night. Which all sounded delicious! We ordered the carpaccio and the tuna tartare to start. He asked us if we wanted to share the starters which we absolutely did, so that was a much appreciated touch. The prawn carpaccio was beautiful, so delicate and melted in the mouth. The tuna was so fresh with a lovely mix of peppers, red onion, and avocado mixed through. They had a perfectly cooked poached egg on top that had a crispy coating, there was a satisfying oozing of the yolk when it was cut into. For the mains we got the sea breem and the turbot. The fish was cooked perfectly, it was accompanied by veggies and mashed potatoes. My only very tiny criticism is that I would have preferred a sauteed potato or something just a bit lighter than mash. However it was still very tasty and the sauce was really nice. The portions were a good size and we were both pretty full at this point. But not wanting to miss out on dessert we ordered the starwberry cheesecake. It was gorgeous, lovely texture and really creamy flavour. Perfect ending to a perfect meal. Also, it was really good value at €119 for everything, will definitely be back when I visit Port de Pollensa...
Read moreFive of us visited on a Sunday and were seated at an outside table. It was on the early side of dinner and the atmosphere overlooking the square as families gathered and children played was lovely. Service was rather disorganized and unwelcoming. We were able to order a round of drinks which we enjoyed. A different gentleman took our food orders, one of which was the sea bream in salt which is noted to take 25 minutes to cook/prepare. Shortly after a basket of bread was dropped at our table; that was the end of any attention form the staff. We watched other parties arrive, be seated, order sea bream, be served and move onto dessert. No one came by to take another drink order or check in. Another basket or bread or two were hastily dropped at our table and we eventually flagged a waiter down to check on our order. It had been 90 minutes. There were apologies and we were told many fish orders were being managed. When the meals did arrive, they were satisfactory. Nothing outstanding. Skipped dessert given the dinner experience. Bill presented which included a charge for 3 baskets of bread. Overall the most disappointing dining experience during our almost 2 week walking trip, having visited several towns in the western side...
Read moreDon't miss an opportunity to eat at this fantastic restaurant! We wandered by, read the menu and weren't particularly drawn in. But we chose to give it a shot... And the result was something else!
The food here is absolutely top notch, best we've eaten in Majorca, so good we went back for 2 nights straight to finish our holiday. Incredible flavours, everything was perfectly cooked, well seasoned, really well thought out, fresh ingredients and the meat and fish were absolutely top notch. Highly recommend the croquettes, the pork cheek tacos were stunning and the fillet steak was like butter. We also had the sea bream baked in salt and it was absolutely beautiful. I could recommend everything we ate.. Oh and the virgin mojitos are excellent too!
It's not cheap, we spent €100-120 for 2 people each night, we had 4 courses, no wine. But it's also certainly no more than some other very mediocre restaurants in the area... There are numerous, be sure to check out reviews!
This was an absolute gem and the service to go with it was impeccable! Fantastic team, always happy to help and very attentive.. they walk some serious mileage every night! 😳
5/5 thanks again to the team at this restaurant, you guys made our holiday! Two meals we'll...
