The place came recommended by my in-law for seafood tapas, but honestly, I left disappointed.

We were seated upstairs on the “second floor,” which felt oddly exposed—the space wasn’t closed off and lacked a full wall, so we got the full force of the noise from below. For a Friday lunch, it was especially loud and definitely not ideal if you’re hoping for a quiet meal.

The calamares was cooked well, just the way I like it, but nothing stood out—it was simply average. As for the merluza a la Gallega, the texture of the fish was far too soft and almost unappealing, and the presentation was lackluster. I usually can’t resist snapping a photo, but this time, I didn’t even want to. Honestly, either my own version or my mother-in-law’s is three or four times better.

Also, contrary to what I’d seen online, they don’t offer a menu del día. Instead, it’s a plato del día—one fixed dish each weekday, typically costing around €5, but with only two or three options.

Frankly, I’d much rather go to Los Castellanos, pay €13, and enjoy a proper menu del día. And just a tip: if you don’t want bread, make sure to say so, otherwise you’ll be charged for it, like in most places in Spain.

I might give this place another shot,...

The food was beyond delicious. We took various seafood tapas, from the typical Galician octopus to gambas al ajillo, passing by the fried fish and razor clams. All was some of the best I've ever eaten. This is a place for locals by locals, and the prices are super reasonable. If you are looking for typical Galician tapas and want to avoid tourist traps, this is the place to go. We drove +40 minutes for it and it was well worth it. In high season, better...

Finally found great food in Spain! We were drawn in by the buzz of the locals and every dish was great and reasonably priced. We took the option to upsize all the dishes. Not a lot of English spoken so have your google translate ready, but very patient and friendly service too
