A True Hidden Gem!

My partner and I recently had the pleasure of dining at Restaurante Jamaica during our 7-night stay, and we couldn't be more delighted to share our exceptional experience. In fact, we visited this charming establishment not once, not twice, but three times during our trip, and we would have undoubtedly made it our daily dining destination if we had discovered this hidden gem sooner.

First and foremost, let's talk about the incredible staff. Despite facing the challenges of being evacuated from their homes due to a nearby fire, the restaurant staff went above and beyond to ensure our dining experience was exceptional. Their dedication and professionalism were truly commendable. What impressed us most was the genuine warmth and hospitality they extended to every guest. Even in the midst of adversity, their smiles never wavered, and nothing was too much trouble for them. Their resilience and commitment to making our visit memorable were nothing short of remarkable.

Now, onto the food! We savored a variety of dishes during our visits, including pizza, pasta, chips, and garlic bread. Every bite was a symphony of flavors that left our taste buds dancing with delight. The quality and taste of the food were consistently top-notch, and it's evident that the chefs take immense pride in their craft.

What's equally impressive is the affordability of dining at Restaurante Jamaica. For two people, our bill averaged around 30 euros each night, which included two main courses, sides, and a refreshing alcoholic beverage each. Considering the exceptional quality of the food and the impeccable service, this represents outstanding value for money.

But what truly sets Restaurante Jamaica apart is the heartwarming human touch they bring to the dining experience. The staff's kindness and dedication made our vacation, which was marred by unexpected challenges, so much more bearable. They turned a potential nightmare into a memorable and...

The moment we walked in, me and my family were greeted by a lovely woman called Rosie and were then allowed to pick our own table. We were given menu's and while ordering, she even helped us to learn a little bit of Spanish. The food took a short 15 minutes, and the quality definitely didn't show it. One of the best meals I have ever had, would happily come here every night for the rest of my life. Breakfasts, salads and pasta dishes are also available. We had the special, Paella, a margarita pizza and a Jamaican pizza. It was absolutely beautiful. None of us like to share food really, but everyone had a little bit of everything this time round. Finished it all with a beautiful hot chocolate and a personal goodbye to the chef. Quick and welcoming service, made a perfect...

Staying near this place and it's an excellent back up for days when you're staying home or when you're wondering by. It's a mom&pop place and me and my girlfriend love the mom part of the team who usually serves. Don't expect anything fancy but you can expect to feel at home and leave well fed ;) They also have pizza for the picky sorts and you can order it to go which is a lifesaver for us remote workers. Fried calamari are cheap and really good. Salads are fresh and tasty.

It's good, it's reasonably priced and you get to feel at home.

Pro tip: Get a zaperoco or a ron con miel...

This restaurant is slightly out of the way of other places but what a find! Great value for money & very friendly service. Rosi did not bat an eyelid when we turned up as a group of 11 ( & returned several times during our stay) One evening 6 of us ordered a paella. We were amazed that they were able to do this without preordering. We all agreed it was superb & could have fed us all!
