Tito's Tenerife — Restaurant in Puerto de la Cruz

Amazing! I has a bit worried that we would have to speak Spanish to enjoy this place (I speak a bit but I struggle to understand it) but I need not have worried. The waitress explained the wines to us and recommended a lovely local red wine (€27). The portions of meat were huge! My husband had the pork which was the size of 3 big chops, my daughter had the sirlion, and I had the encricot of beef. All our food was delicious, coming on sizzling plates. My only slight criticism is that the meat is sliced up for you, so it ends up slightly better done than I would have liked. I prefer to cut the steak myself. So if I came here again I would've asked for rare not medium rare. Other than that the night was perfect.

With desserts (they were gorgeous, and nice manageable portions), 2 bottles of Weisbeer, 2 cokes and the bottle of wine the bill came to €158 which we were happy with. The beer was only €4 which I though was reasonable for a restaurant.

We then took our drinks over to the "Beach" area as there was a rock band on and they were brilliant.

Then we had one more round of drinks and the waiter was lovely, and recommended an alcohol free cocktail for our daughter.

The entertainment was brilliant, I won't spoil it for people but there were people in costumes dancing.

Then a DJ came on and it turned into a bit of a nightclub vibe, which was surprising.

We had an amazing night and felt so...

Wir sind mit hohen Erwartungen dort hin. Früher im "alten Restaurant' paar Minuten von dort entfernt waren wir immer begeistert vom Essen und vom Service.

Leider hat man wohl beim Umzug das kochen verlernt und den Service verlernt. Die Bedienungen dort waren unfreundlich und sind mit genervten Gesichtern dort rumgelaufen.

Wir waren zu 4 dort. 1 Kind und 3 Erwachsene. Für die Erwachsenen kam die Vorspeise und gleichzeitig das Essen fürs Kind (9 Jahre). Absolutes No go, außer man fragt voher. Hauptgerichte werden IMMER zusammen gebracht damit auch ALLE ZUSAMMEN essen können. Unser Sohn war natürlich mit fertig als unser Essen kam. Was auch noch nicht einmal korrekt war bzw von 3 bestellten Essen kamen nur 2. Bestellung wurde falsch auf genommen/weiter geleitet an die Küche. Wurde zwar angeboten das noch zu machen das lehnten wir aber ab da die 3. Person dann hätte "alleine" Essen müssen. Die Pommes waren nicht ganz durch und die Nuggets matchig weich. ( Essen vom Kind) Das Rindersteak wurde medizm bestellt aber kam durch an. Die Soße war total versalzen und die Champions aus der Dose waren kurz erwämt. Die Schweine Medallions waren laut Aussage der anderen beiden Erwachsenen ( die sich die Portion geteilt haben da ja nur 1 gebracht wurde) sehr trocken/zäh. Schwer zu essen. Das Gemüse war gar nicht durch.

Getränkebestellung wurde auch falsch aufgenommen 2 Cola (1x normal 1x Zero)und 1 große Flasche Wasser mit 2 Gläser wurde bestellt. Es kamen 2 Cola - normal und 2 große Flaschen Wasser.

Nie wieder werden wir dort hingehen. Auch andere mit denen wir im Nachhinein gesprochen haben sind im neuen Restaurant unzufrieden und gehen dort nicht mehr hin.

Bevor jetzt gesagt wird..Es lag bestimmt an den fehlenden Sprachkenntnissen...Sorry nein. Meine Mutter ist dort geboren und aufgewachsen genauso wie meine Tante und ich der der spanischen Sprache auch mächtig.

Fuimos allí con muchas expectativas. Solíamos estar en el "antiguo restaurante" a pocos minutos de allí y siempre estábamos encantados con la comida y el servicio. Desafortunadamente, probablemente olvidó cómo cocinar y servir cuando se mudó. Las camareras eran antipáticas y caminaban con caras de enojo. Éramos 4 allí. 1 niño y 3 adultos. Llegó el entrante para los adultos y al mismo tiempo la comida para el niño (9 años). Absolutamente prohibido, a menos que lo preguntes primero. Los platos principales SIEMPRE se preparan juntos para que TODOS puedan comer JUNTOS. Por supuesto, nuestro hijo había terminado cuando llegó nuestra comida. Lo cual ni siquiera era correcto y solo llegaron 2 de las 3 comidas que pedimos. El pedido se tomó incorrectamente o se envió a la cocina. Nos ofrecieron hacerlo, pero lo rechazamos porque la tercera persona habría tenido que comer "sola". Las papas fritas no estaban completamente cocidas y las pepitas estaban suaves. (comida de niño) El filete de ternera se pidió por motivos médicos, pero llegó. La salsa estaba totalmente salada y los campeones enlatados se calentaron brevemente. Según los otros dos adultos (que compartieron la porción ya que solo trajeron 1), los medallones de cerdo estaban muy secos/duros. Difícil de comer. Las verduras no estaban nada cocidas. El pedido de bebidas también se tomó incorrectamente. Se pidieron 2 colas (1 normal y 1 cero) y 1 botella grande de agua con 2 vasos. Llegaron 2 Coca-Colas: normales y 2 botellas grandes de agua. Nunca volveremos a ir allí. Otras personas con las que hablamos después también estaban insatisfechas con el nuevo restaurante y ya no van allí. Antes de decirlo ahora... Definitivamente se debió a la falta de habilidades lingüísticas... Lo siento, no. Mi madre nació y creció allí, igual que mi tía, y yo también...

We are on vacation in Tenerife Island. After sightseeing in the island on the way back to our hotel we would have a nice lunch. From the advice of the google we found a typically restaurant of the local food. We went inside asking if they have a table for two.. the way she answer arrogant that we should take a place to the other dark restaurant or outside the garden area. We are just look and orientation how they treat the new guest coming..... they choose the guest to eat on the garden area only for the local rich people...but poor local people not allowed also to sit in the garden area near the waterfall. Foreign guest not allowed to come inside.

The service just not friendly at all... i can say really ARROGANT...... they don’t greet us or other guest when they enter the restaurant. Smile please.

They served us in a hurry and not professional at all. You can’t see what is in the pocket of each people...

Nothing is special about the food even the service in the restaurant on the street is a lot friendlier. They really have a big issue about the service. It is not a luxurious a restaurant at all.

Finally it’s not worth it to come here if you get treat...
