The staggering selection of plants trees and shrubs is one of the best I’ve seen within Europe. Approximately 200 years ago the King of Spain commissioned for these plants to be brought from all over the world and planted out in the garden on the beautiful island of Tenerife at Orotava. Almost all of the plants have a small placard with a QR code you can scan to gain information on the history and origins of the plant in question. It is a very calm and relaxing place to visit and it only cost €3 for an adult entry and they give you a free map with the history of the gardens. There happens to be a Lidl nearby so very convenient to buy a lunch for cheap cost. Well worth a visit- I drove west from Costa Adeje to Orotava that included zig zag mountain roads and amazing views or the island - probably not suitable for timid drivers but exhilarating. Return journey drive east therefore circumnavigating the whole island in one day. If you find this review helpful please consider following me - I will follow you back...

However the same plants on the streets and the Sitio Litre Jardin had beautiful flowers. We were there when they were watering the plants and they put up signs to worn the visitors. The tickets were...

The garden is beautifully maintained, with a wide variety of exotic and tropical plants from around the world. It’s not huge, but every corner offers something interesting to see, from towering palms and giant roots to vibrant flowers and shady pathways.
The atmosphere is calm and serene, making it a great escape from the busier tourist areas. It’s ideal for a quiet walk, photography, or just sitting on a bench surrounded by greenery. Entry is very affordable, and the garden is right in front of Pizzería Europa and the restaurant Delhi, which makes for a perfect lunch stop afterward.
Highly recommended for plant lovers, families, or anyone looking for a quiet, beautiful place to visit...
