Ali Baba — Restaurant in Rojales

I have been visiting Quesada for about six years and am now living about ten minutes away and have always used this Chinese restaurant. The staff are so friendly and welcoming, service is attentive but not over fussy, the food is always piping hot and delicious and my visit on Christmas Day was no different. I booked for 2 o clock and was met by the young waitress ( who knows my name……🙈🤷‍♂️👍) and she always greets me with “ Hello *”which is rather nice, we had duck (a little spicy, beautiful) and I had a Thai red beef curry, equally delicious and a portion of fried rice to share and a couple of Heinekens. Salt and pepper spare ribs to take away, equally yummy, made for a great Christmas lunch and no silly hikes in price, same price and we took a a box of chocolates for the staff. One of the waitresses came out after us with a bottle bag with a lovely bottle of wine in as a gift, which was unexpected, but a nice surprise. If you haven’t been here yet, you should, it is always spot on and the food is really well cooked and consistently excellent. Fancied a change from our usual "Chinese", ok they were on holidays but never mind we thought we'd come and try Ali Baba. The set menu looked good so went for that. Quick service and nice and hot and very tasty. Would probably come again, plenty of choice on the menu, quiet but it always is at this time of the year....

This has become our favourite Asian restaurant. Serving Chinese and Thai food, with excellent staff and service. The daily 3 course menu is excellent value and cooked to perfection.
