Amore Mio — Restaurant in Rojales

This was s very plesent surprise 😮 after being greated by very plesent staff and seated immediately we were approached by our server for the night a very plesent women of itialian decent with a list of beers and wines and a menu 😀 I ordered peroni and my wife ordered a sparkling water, these arrived at our table within a few minutes and they waitress was taking our orders for diner with a recommendation of the bruscaitt and we said we would share, it arrived very quickly and it was fantastic 😀 👏. When the meal arrived 😋 it was presented very well and looking excellent 👌, tasted exceptional mine was the sirloin and my wife ordered carbonara portion size was good and there was nothing left in the plate very tasty 😋 I ordered a second beer and were discussing the option of a dessert the waitress suggested sharing the tiramisu and thus was what we ordered it was delicious 😋 having spoken to the owners and given our comments to them. good Ambience, very supporting and friendly service. The starter was a bruschetta which as excellent. Sadly the rest of the food was less than mediocre. I had the chicken with Marsala Sauce which was served overheated from the microwave and the sauce divide from the overheating of the oil. My partner had a Beef Filet which cooked sous vide(not fried) and came out raw even he orderd it medium rare, after he complain they cut the whole steak into pieces and fried it afterwards . As desert i ordered the Sicilian Canoli which should be filled with Ricotta cheese but it was filled with a kind of cream which flow away because it was not cooled and on the side whipped cream from a spray can. For the quality of the provided food the price was much to high and we cannot recommend...

We stumbled upon Amore Mio about two years ago, it is situated upstairs at La Marquesa, Rojales.

The food is consistently amazing, the pasta is excellent, and they have these ribs as a special, and OMG, they are amazing. The restaurant's decor is very good, and the toilets are always immaculate. The terrace is where we love to sit is comfortable and shaded in the summer. This restaurant is a treat.

But what makes this Restaurant even more special is the owner, Mio, she has to be the jolliest woman I have ever met, she is always so happy to see us. There are a few young waiters and waitresses and they are so friendly and efficient, they are a credit to Mio.
