Stevies Lounge Bar — Restaurant in Rojales

Went as part of a group of seven for an evening meal. Two of us ordered the steak pie which I'd had before on a previous holiday and really enjoyed so recommended it to one of my friends. The meal turned up minus the peas, so all that was on the plate was pie and chips. The waitress said sorry they'd run out of peas....and that was it, no substitute veg was offered. Meanwhile others had ordered scampi, Thai curry, etc, all turned up looking far, far more inviting. Some might think I'm being petty, but if I'd known I'd have ordered something different. What made it worse was the table behind us also ordered the steak pie quite some time after us and they still weren't notified of the lack of veg when the waitress was fully aware there were no peas. They got the same treatment.... Overall, really quite disappointed and...

Busy little place. Could do a lot better with a shake up. Tired especially outside. Grubby empty lifeless concrete planters holding down brolly stands! You know the kind you always stub ya toe on. The food for the price to be fair is spot on but my god the older woman serving is so miserable she needs to go. When we were there 3 very nice guys were having breakfast they asked for 3 more beers and she snapped at them saying I’m busy you’re going to have to wait! They never got their drinks! Owner take note you lost a sale. Other staff are fine but you never know what the mood is gonna be! It’s a shame there are no replies from the owners to customers...

Lovely food. Always used to go for breakfast there, have done for years. Visited twice this trip and the food was great. Unfortunately the waitress women there was really arrogant. A large family came in and ordered food and she was really short and rude to them and rolled her eyes when they were ordering because they changed a couple of breakfast items. Real shame as always liked Stevies for breakfast but if that’s how they appreciate their customers we’d rather spend our money elsewhere. Does she roll her eyes at us behind our backs?? Theres plenty of local places that do nice food and don’t look down on...
