A Consistently Outstanding Dining Experience
We first discovered Bellissimo Restaurant at La Marquesa, Rojales in the early summer of last year, and it has since become one of our go-to restaurants for delicious food, warm hospitality, and excellent value. Nestled in a charming location, this hidden gem offers a dining experience that is both memorable and satisfying. Bellissimo La Marquesa has earned its place as a favourite in our book, from the welcoming atmosphere to the consistently high-quality dishes.
First Impressions – A Warm Welcome
Our initial visit to Bellissimo La Marquesa was a happy accident. While exploring the area, we stumbled upon this quaint restaurant and were immediately greeted by a lovely lady who spoke English. This was a huge relief for us, as we were still learning Spanish early. Her friendly demeanour and welcoming attitude set the tone for a delightful dining experience.
We chose to sit on the covered terrace, which was both cosy and inviting. The ambience was perfect for a leisurely lunch, and we decided to try the Menu del Día (menu of the day). The service was friendly, attentive, and efficient, and the food exceeded our expectations. Each dish was flavorful, well-prepared, and offered great value for the price.
Consistent Excellence – A Reliable Favorite
Since that first visit, we’ve dined at Bellissimo La Marquesa several times for lunch, and each experience has been just as enjoyable as the last. The consistency in food quality and service is truly commendable. Whether it’s a quick midday meal or a more relaxed dining experience, Bellissimo never disappoints.
This year, we’ve also visited the restaurant four times for early dinner. As the weather has turned colder, we’ve opted to sit inside, and the interior dining room is just as charming as the terrace. The décor is comfortable and tasteful, creating a relaxed and inviting atmosphere.
The Food – A Culinary Delight
The menu at Bellissimo La Marquesa offers a variety of dishes that cater to different tastes, and everything we’ve tried has been excellent. On one occasion, we had the Duo of Cheese, which featured deep-fried brie and camembert. It was rich, indulgent, and absolutely delicious.
The seafood pasta was another standout dish, packed with fresh flavours and perfectly cooked seafood. We’ve also tried their pizza, which was fantastic—crispy crust, generous toppings, and a great balance of flavours. Each dish is prepared with care and attention to detail, making every meal a memorable one.
Great Value for Money
One of the things we appreciate most about Bellissimo La Marquesa is the excellent value for money. At around €30 per person for an early dinner, including drinks, the food quality and the overall experience far exceed the price. The portions are generous, and the ingredients are fresh and high-quality.
A Warm Welcome Every Time
What truly sets Bellissimo La Marquesa apart is the warm and friendly service. The staff always make us feel welcome, and their attentiveness adds to the overall enjoyment of the meal. It’s clear that they take pride in what they do, and their passion for hospitality shines through in every interaction.
Final Thoughts
Bellissimo La Marquesa is a hidden gem that deserves all the praise it receives. From the delicious food and cosy ambience to the exceptional service, every aspect of the dining experience is thoughtfully curated. Whether you’re visiting for lunch or dinner, you’re guaranteed a memorable meal at a reasonable price.
To the team at Bellissimo La Marquesa, thank you for consistently delivering such a wonderful experience. Keep up the fantastic work—we’ll definitely be back soon!
Consistently excellent food, warm service, and great value for money. A must-visit for anyone in the area!

Read moreMyself my partner and daughter visited this restaurant and was disgusted with both the service and the food. We arrived shortly before 7 with only 1 other table occupied when we arrived after approximately 30 minutes our order was taken for both drinks and food. After around an hour we received our starters but my daughters starter which was mussels was not cooked properly it was seriously under cooked and still soggy so.my daughter never ate hers. When the table was cleared they asked was there something wrong with the mussels and I replied yes they were under cooked.theres a risk of food poisoning. As the full.portion was still in the bowl I said.please ask your chef to try one and give us his opinion needless to.say we never got his opinion or any kind of apology. We then waited until 2 hours had passed before eventually deciding enough was enough and asking for our bill as we were not willing to wait any longer and astonishingly the mussels were on our bill. After we arrived a few other tables also arrived but one of these tables were obviously a regular customer who was served with drink, starter and main and fully paid and left within 1 hour when I pointed this out to the waitress who replied yes they had booked I then pointed out we had also booked a time before them as they had arrived after us so that was not a valid excuse that we were still waiting on our mains 2 hours later and she just walked away to get our bill. I would strongly advise against this restaurant the prices are set at fine dining prices but neither the service or the food suggests fine dining do yourself a favour and go...
Read moreEstupendo I will only leave a review if the service and food, in my humble opinion, is either excellent or extremely poor, a 4 star review is actually negative and can greatly affect the rating of a newly opened venue, a 1 star like the one Andrew D has left is an insult, I actually think I visited a different restaurant I made an enquiry about a last minute booking for three people, I had received their reply within 5 minutes. We arrived and were met by Clare who asked us to choose our own table. We were immediately offered drinks and the ladies chose to start with cocktails, these were obviously freshly made but were still with us in a matter of minutes. We ordered wine with our meal and Clare brought down a bottle so we could sample it before we ordered, it was really good and we ended up ordering a second…. Our starter was the Bellissimo Special which was a sample of their starters, it’s recommended for two or more, seriously it would do four,! For mains we had Lasagne, Frutti Di Mari spaghetti and their Salmon pasta, again everything was cooked fresh and the flavours were excellent, not normally a dessert person, and already stuffed, I felt I needed to try something as there was a really good selection, I wasn’t disappointed, we finished the meal off with complimentary lemoncellos. This was our first visit to what I have no doubt will be the most popular restaurant...
