O Melhor Croissant da Minha Rua — Restaurant in Ronda

Was looking for a bite to eat with the kids and this place looked decent.

Service wasn't great. We spotted other people having their stuff brought to their tables - they didn't bring ours out.

I ordered a savoury croissant (mozzarella and tomato) which they put in a sweet croissant (glazed with icing sugar) which really went well with the basil and oil. As it had been sat on the counter for 5-10 mins it had gone all soggy. Disgusting 🤮

Wife ordered a smoothie. For 6 euros it was about 300ml. Tasted nice enough but was about as basic as it comes. Lame.

Kids had sweet croissants with Nutella in which was nice.

We also had a large bottle of water - no glasses provided so we swigged it from the bottle.

And they charged us 30 euros for the pleasure. No wonder the reviews suck. Shame as the actual pastry wasn’t bad - just...

Ive been here couple times and won’t be coming back. I know in Spain nobody is in rush but the service in there is close to none. Food is average I suppose, ok for quick breakfast, but to wait 20 min for 3 coffees (we also ordered food, which probably would arrive after 1h). We see people at each table getting frustrated, going inside to bring their own food to the table because waitress is nowhere to be seen. And it wasn’t full, I get it if it’s busy it’s obvious there’s a wait. But there were 4 tables and all of them waited for ages. When my order finally arrived, it was a wrong one. It was for a table next to me which arrived 10 min after we ordered our coffee and sandwiches🤣 It got to the point where I wasn’t even frustrated as it was laughable. La atención del personal hace que nunca quiera volver a este lugar. Pedí unos batidos de los cuales ninguno de los sabores de la carta estaban disponibles (decían que tenían que actualizarlo) y un par de croissants, al momento de entregar la orden, ante la confusión de que se anunciaba el servicio a la mesa y ver que éramos nosotros los que teníamos que ir a recoger, tardamos con exageración un minuto en ir a por ello. Cuando nos damos cuenta que el queso del croissant mixto NO estaba derretido fui a pedir que si por favor podían calentarlo y la respuesta fue: “Ya se enfrió verdad? Como tardan tanto en venir pues se ha enfriado.” Con una prepotencia increíble, que ya vi la mala gana con la que me entregó el pedido pero hice caso omiso, pero este tipo de respuesta es una falta de respeto y humildad a reconocer que nunca lo calentaron. Que tardemos 1 minuto hace que el queso se des-derrita? No lo creo. La respuesta soberbia SOBRA. He leído un par de reseñas señalando comportamientos así y claro, un mal día lo tiene cualquiera, pero la MALA ACTITUD es para rato. Obviamente NO VOLVERÍA NUNCA más y menos aún recomendarlo.
