Bar Los Pinos — Restaurant in Rota

Don't go to bar los pinos. They hate foreigners and just don't serve them. My partner was completely ignored when he wanted to order something. They are rude no matter who of the wait staff it is.

Acquaintances of ours sat at a table and were served (they speak Spanish!). We sat down at their table......and then they no longer wanted to serve them, even though they also wanted to eat something. To top it all off, they also wanted to charge them more than 7 euros too much at checkout. Conclusion: DO NOT EAT OR DRINK AT BAR LOS PINOS.

This place is a legit soul lounge just a stone's throw from the beach. The food is excellent and they have a half-full bar at your disposal under the shade of pine trees behind the dunes. You will feel as though you have arrived, although this beach spot is not so close to the center of the city. Traditional Spanish tapas are served with an emphasis on seafood, but you may have to walk up to the bar and pick up your order for an outside table. It was not possible to order even if people we know are sitting on a table. The waitresses were very rude. Also when the people we know want to order an additional drink the waitress does not want to sell a drink. They were overcharged for €7. What a crooks. Only Spanish people are being served. They totally ignore foreigners. We never experienced such a bludy rudeness. So avoid this place and go to the neighbours close to the beach, Chiringuito Chris. They serve a...
