Everybody knows your name...Original resturant with superior quality at affordable prices. ...Best food in Rota ...period. Update new. Menu Wow sea bass Thai style BRILLIANT The best dry aged beef in Spain Entirely new taco menu off the chart Going for the new Philly butter sauce filet minon now. Whew breathtaking Can you say Ruth Chris in Spain Or is that too woke Okay so now I am the proverbial Guinea Pig Whenever an excellent restaurant like Sedona adds to their menu people take notice After a couple of meals over the last couple of days of new items I decided to try the Mexican Street dog The first thing I'm thinking of is chili and cheese and ketchup This dog is all the way south I don't think it's even on a continent First time I ever had bread cooked like that lightly buttered Grilled wow When you're looking at the top of it you think you're going to eat a salad corn and guacamole Oh I had ketchup on standby but that's all It did was stand by Once again the bread gets you vegetables were creamy and delicious and all of a sudden you bite into a pure beef hot dog I'm a jersey guy and everybody knows that New York dogs are King They just got Dethroned..probably one of the best lunches I've ever had period There's a new King in town and it came from the streets

My husband, daughter, and I went to this restaurant Tex-Mex/Spanish cuisine. The atmosphere was great, sangria was the best I've had in a while. My husband had the Red Enchiladas, my daughter had the Chicken Chimichamiga, and I opted for the Grandma's Mac-N-Cheese, which were all great and the Sangria was the best I've had in a long time. However for dessert they had listed a Sopapillia as pictured below. The description states "Fried wheat cakes covered with sugar and cinnamon. Served with ice cream and cream." However what we got was 2 fried tortillas that were overloaded with cinnamon sugar, ice cream and whipped cream which was very disappointing. I've eaten at Tex-Mex and Spanish restaurants in Florida, Tennessee, and Texas and Texas had the best tru to definition Sopapillias I have ever had. The second photo is what traditional Sopapillias are supposed to look like. Needless to say I was very disappointed with the Sopapillias dish I had this evening. If it wasn't for the dessert, I would have given this restaurant a 5 star rating!! They either need to make the dish like the one pictured on their website or change the picture to reflect the dish served to the customer.

We travel to Rota every three months for medical appointments, so after 12 hours of fasting for blood tests, we are ready for a hearty, American-style breakfast. Retirees are not welcome at the NSA Rota Chow Hall (the commissary and NEX are also off-limits), so we usually make the trek across town to the Sedona Bar and Grill. Their breakfast is pretty good by European standards with crispy, US-style, hickory-smoked bacon, sausage, eggs made to order, crunchy home-fried potatoes, and toast, all for around €10. They also have pancakes and other less savory options. For lunch and dinner, they offer Mexican dishes, including tacos, nachos, and quesadillas among others, but we have only been there for breakfast and I cannot comment on the quality. If they had buttermilk biscuits and country gravy to go along with the breakfasts, they would get top marks in my book and we might just make the drive to Rota more often. We were there for the first time last week. And for the last time. We are often in the corner when my son plays tournaments. After a match, my son was very hungry. The restaurant was almost completely empty, inside and out. A very arrogant and unfriendly man told us there was only room if we made a reservation. There was to be a party later. I said we were "fast eaters" and very hungry. He said no and left us standing. Maybe we weren't chic enough, we were in sportswear. I then asked what we could take with us. He said it would be fine, would take half an hour and showed us a table where we could wait. We said no and told him we'd wait by the car. The car was parked right outside the door. We sat down on the seat in the trunk. He suddenly looked over at us in a funny way because a colleague was pointing at us, which was probably due to the combination of simply dressed people sitting in such a car. Then, after 10 minutes, the man came out with a bag and pushed the bag into my hand very rudely without looking at me. I then went in to this other colleague and paid with a generous tip. She had noticed everything and was a bit embarrassed and she couldn't help her colleague's boorish behavior. As we had to drive a little further, we decided to eat in the car so that the food wouldn't get cold. When we had finished eating, the restaurant was still...

Okay so now I am the proverbial Guinea Pig

Whenever an excellent restaurant like Sedona adds to their menu people take notice

After a couple of meals over the last couple of days of new items I decided to try the Mexican Street dog

The first thing I'm thinking of is chili and cheese and ketchup

This dog is all the way south I don't think it's even on a continent

First time I ever had bread cooked like that lightly buttered Grilled wow

When you're looking at the top of it you think you're going to eat a salad corn and guacamole Oh I had ketchup on standby but that's all It did was stand by

Once again the bread gets you vegetables were creamy and delicious and all of a sudden you bite into a pure beef hot dog

I'm a jersey guy and everybody knows that New York dogs are King

They just got Dethroned..probably one of the best lunches I've ever had period

There's a new King in town and it came...
