Wenn ich könnte, würde ich 6 Sterne vergeben! Dieses Restaurant ist eine absolute Empfehlung und hat mich restlos begeistert. Dezember) verzaubert eine wunderschöne weihnachtliche Dekoration den Raum. Mehrere geschmackvoll geschmückte Weihnachtsbäume sorgen für eine festliche und gemütliche Atmosphäre. Man fühlt sich sofort wohl, es ist angenehm ruhig, und die Akustik ermöglicht es, sich perfekt zu unterhalten. Die Servicequalität verdient ein besonderes Lob: Die Kellner sind äußerst gepflegt, ihr Auftreten ist professionell, freundlich und immer hilfsbereit. Man merkt, dass hier mit Herz gearbeitet wird. Unser Essen: Vorspeise: Brot mit einer selbst gemachten Buttercreme und Olio auch das habe ich in keinem Restaurant bisher bekommen. Außergewöhnlich gut! Würde das jedes Mal nehmen wenn ich hier wieder Urlaub mache. Hauptspeise: 1x Ribeye mit Padrón-Paprika und gerösteten Kartoffeln Das Steak war absolut perfekt zubereitet. Einfach ein Traum! 1x Risotto de Sepia y Calamar (Sepia- und Tintenfisch-Risotto) Ohne Übertreibung: Das beste Risotto, das ich jemals gegessen habe! Und das sage ich, obwohl wir in Österreich, speziell in Tirol, eine herausragende Küche haben. Doch dieses Gericht hebt sich noch einmal auf ein ganz anderes Niveau. Absolut außergewöhnlich! Das Chez Junior ist nicht nur ein Restaurant, sondern ein geschmackserlebnis :) Die Kombination aus Atmosphäre, Service und der unglaublichen Qualität der Speisen ergibt für mich eine 11/10! From the moment you walk in, the attention to detail is striking: the tables are beautifully set, and during this festive season (as of December 7), the room is adorned with stunning Christmas decorations. Several tastefully decorated Christmas trees create a festive and cozy atmosphere. You feel instantly at home; it’s wonderfully calm, and the acoustics make it easy to have a perfect conversation. The service deserves special praise: the waitstaff are impeccably groomed, their demeanor is professional and friendly, and they are always eager to help. You can tell that everything here is done with genuine care and passion. Our meal: Starter: Bread with a homemade buttercream and olive oil – something I’ve never been served in any other restaurant before. Exceptionally good! I would order this every time I come here for vacation. Main Course: 1x Ribeye with Padrón peppers and roasted potatoes The steak was absolutely perfectly cooked. Butter-soft, cooked to perfection, and so well-seasoned that I didn’t need to add anything. Simply a dream! 1x Risotto de Sepia y Calamar (Sepia and Squid Risotto) Without exaggeration: the best risotto I’ve ever eaten! And I say this as someone who comes from Austria, especially Tyrol, where we have an outstanding culinary scene. Yet this dish takes things to an entirely new level. Absolutely extraordinary! Chez Junior is not just a restaurant; it’s a culinary experience. The combination of atmosphere, service, and the incredible quality of the food is, for me, an 11/10! Mi experiencia en el restaurante fue simplemente excepcional, y gran parte de ello se debe al talento del chef Armando. Desde el primer momento en que llegamos, se notó la dedicación a cada detalle, desde el ambiente acogedor hasta la calidad impecable de los platos. Uno de los platos destacados fue sin duda la Corvina, cocinada a la perfección. El pescado tenía una textura suave y un sabor fresco que se equilibraba maravillosamente con los ingredientes que lo acompañaban. Una auténtica delicia marina que demuestra la habilidad de Armando en la cocina. El filete de res fue otro espectáculo. Cocinado al punto exacto, era jugoso, tierno y lleno de sabor. La carne se deshacía en la boca, acompañada de una guarnición que complementaba perfectamente el plato. Fue, sin duda, uno de los mejores cortes de carne que he probado. Y no puedo dejar de mencionar la berenjena. Un plato que suele ser sencillo fue elevado a otro nivel con una combinación de texturas y sabores sorprendentes. Armando logró sacar lo mejor de este ingrediente, haciendo que se convirtiera en uno de los favoritos de la noche. En resumen, el restaurante es una parada obligatoria para quienes busquen una experiencia culinaria de alta calidad, con un chef que claramente pone su corazón y alma en cada plato. ¡Definitivamente regresaré!

This place is rather expensive, but the food was delicious. I tried the croquettes with truffles & their Christmas special seafood soup. Portion sizes were rather small, you can easily pay 60€ pp and still walk out kinda hungry (which shouldn’t be the case in my opinion). Other than that, the interior was very stylish & modern, the waiters were also very friendly.

This place is rather expensive, but the food was delicious. I tried the croquettes with truffles & their Christmas special seafood soup. Portion sizes were rather small, you can easily pay 60€ pp and still walk out kinda hungry (which shouldn’t be the case in my opinion). We didn't have a table reservation for the last night of our trip. The place looked decent and popular from the outside. After a short wait, we got a table. We were told that there were no menus available and that we would have to wait about 10 minutes for them. That was strange, and the nearby tables where few people were eating made us even more suspicious. People were just shaking their heads. Some groups paid for their initial drinks and left without ordering food. We should have done the same, but we decided to give the restaurant a chance. That wasn't a good idea. The menu never arrived, but we borrowed the menu from the table next to us. We didn't order any starters because it became clear that the service was very slow. We only ordered the main courses, lasagna, and risotto. It took a really long time for them to arrive, and we had to ask a few times if there was a problem in the kitchen or what was going on. No bread or anything else was served, except for an extra charge, of course. The dishes finally came, and there was no salad or any other sides. The lasagna looked like a supermarket frozen product and tasted like it too. However, it was very expensive, so the quality-price ratio was really bad. It became perfectly clear that in this restaurant, you pay for the central location. The total time was almost two hours, even though we only ordered one dish and a couple of drinks. Many other tables gave up before us. I asked for the bill at the same time as the food was brought to the table. It didn't come. After the meal, I started looking for the bill, and that wasn't easy either. I really cannot...

First of all, when we approached the m’aitre d to enquire about a table, he was quite rude and snidely asked if we had “read the menu”.

We wanted to try the place because the menu looked very interesting.

Once seated we ordered some drinks and the ribeye and fillet steak. We ordered both medium rare. He “advised” us that a Spanish medium rare is actually an English rare, which we both agreed on as being perfect for us.

The fillet was served medium well and the “ribeye steak” somehow morphed into a sirloin steak when it left the kitchen and made its way to our table and was cooked medium well. The flavour was good and it was good quality beef, however, when the discrepancy about the sirloin and ribeye was quietly mentioned to the owner, he emphasised that it WAS a ribeye that was served. If he had bothered to check the table while we were eating, he could have seen that it was a sirloin but he was not accepting of the fact. I would advise that he either changes the menu or butcher or chef because clearly he is happy to try and pull the wool over his customers eyes.

Certainly would recommend some customer service training.

It’s a pretentious place, no doubt it’s part of the reason we were only one of two tables in the restaurant when all other restaurants...

Totally unacceptable waiting time! It's a shame that this place with such good dishes totally fails in terms of service and handling due to a waiting time of 96 min. to have the food served. We show up at a reserved table on the terrace, and after 15 min. need to ask for the menu card. At the same time, drinks are ordered, which arrive apx. 10 minutes later. 45 min. after our arrival we have to find a waiter inside to order food. 5 minutes after we succeed placing our order. We were informed by the waiter that we must be patient and understanding - with a slightly arrogant smile. It then takes 44 minutes before our food is served, but the last of the total of 4 disses arrives 7 minutes later. In connection with the very long waiting time, the waiter offers a round of drinks on the house bill. Ok, but still an unacceptably long waiting time of a total of 96 minutes before our food is fully served. To ensure quick payment, I go inside, where the restaurant manager is brave enough to ask if "everything was okay?" - I reply that the food was excellent, but that the service was as hell. We are the offered the whole dinner free of charge - which must be an admission of their mistake, but still only a plaster on the wound, as we did not expect the long...
