We returned to Do de Pit, after we had our pre-wedding party there 2 years ago. It has since been revamped and our hotel informed us of their new chef. It's situated away from the hustle and bustle of the square, at the roundabout beside Gran Via. We were greeted by such a lovely, friendly host and had a seat by the open windows. She gave us complimentary padron peppers which were seasoned to perfection!
We chose to share the crispy prawn, avocado & sriracha bao buns as a starter rather than opting for tapas that night. The portion was generous and they were very tasty! For main, we had the cheeseburger which is a double smash burger with crispy bacon on a brioche bun. It comes with fries and we asked for the bravas sauce in the side. The burger was absolutely delicious, full of juiciness and flavour and the fries were homemade.
The meal overall was very tasty, the local artisan beer was fruity and refreshing and the staff were all so pleasant. We do want to go back and try the tapas as they all looked incredible! Highly recommend this for a restaurant away from the busy square and for really fantastic and...
Read moreCame here for a lunch, for our day trip to Soller. We didn't had a reservation, but were able to get a free table. The staff was very nice and friendly (English speaking as well). The service was maybe a bit slow, but then again, we were on vacation, so there was no rush, we are to much of a slaves of time in this crazy world. The food was great, Classic burger and Cezar salad, although not sure about the salad, it seemed like we got the mixed green salad with chicken nuggets, on the menu Cezar one has some different ingredients, but still very good. The food was very delicious, maybe a bit pricey, at least for burger when comparing to some other restaurants in Palma. We also got grilled peppers for free, as an appetizer from kitchen. Very good. Definitely recommend it to...
Read moreMy gf and I were very pleased. We didn't ask but it appears to be a family business restaurant. The waitress was very nice and although we didn't make a reservation before we only had to wait 10 minutes.
Since we were very hungry it felt like it took a bit until we received our orders but our appetizer was very nice: Bred with smoked salt + capsicum spice and very nice olives. In addition we ordered deep fried potatoes.
The main course didn't disappoint either: For me bacon cheese burger + deep fried potatoes For my gf: egg plant in a tomato sauce with pomegranate.
Both delicious and a fresh alternative to most overpriced restaurants in Mallorca.
Though it is not cheap. For the meals mentioned above + 2 drinks and tip...
