A bit rude at the beginning but the only available staff was really busy. The food was great, surely not as cheap as "€" but more like "€€", but great anyway. Tasty and plentiful. The staff was kind and caring in the end. However, and even though it was not on the menu and they prepared it on request for our kid who was feeling sick, paying 10 euros for a plate of plain white rice is just a bit short of a theft, and that's the reason I'm taking down a 5 star review to a 2 star review.

REPLY to the owner: I understand what you say and that's the reason I payed without a complain. But all meals are done at the request of the customer, don't they? In any case I'm reviewing my score because the food was good but please ask yourselves if the amount is fair and if you would pay such money for plain white rice if you...

Can't find how to respond to the owners' comment, so here's my respond.

No, we couldn't eat because we weren't allowed inside. Why? Because of our little dog in the pram? I give all establishments who aren't accepting dogs low scores because I think it's ridiculous as long as the dog is calm and lays under the table. In our case, the dog wouldn't even touch the ground!!! (I'm not letting my dog in the campervan with 30 degrees, right? Or maybe I should skip lunch because I have to stay outside with my dog?)

Besides that, I experienced the first communication as "not interested", I felt like I was not welcome and annoying while I was just asking to eat lunch for 3. (didn't talk about the dog then).

Mature couple October 19 afternoon lunch... This is a really good place to eat. The interior is rustic and gives the place a good vibe. The table was nicely set out and the waiter was very friendly and attentive. We had the mixed meat plater for two. This came on a large plate about 10" diameter. Lots of fabulous grilled lamb, stake, pork, black pudding and red sausage on on top of thin slices of potatoes, a baked potato, grilled peppers courgette aubergine and onions. Accompanied with nice rustic bread... We just about finished it all. The meat dish plus bread, glass of wine, coffee and two large beers €37. Brilliant...
