Stopped in this morning with my family for an Irish breakfast and really enjoyed it. Big portions—fried eggs, rashers, sausages, black & white pudding, and all the sides, cooked well. The menu is great value and has loads of choice: English and Scottish breakfasts, and even a spice bag which I thought was a nice touch. The staff were super friendly, the place spotless, and it has a cosy, home-from-home feel not far from the centre of Salou.
We liked it so much we came back for dinner. My peppercorn chicken was lovely, Dad was happy with his Sylvest burger, and Mum enjoyed the chicken goujons. Sticky toffee pudding was delicious, and the coffee was great (only small issue—the tea came with UHT milk). Downsides: the scrambled eggs at breakfast were a bit overdone, and my sister’s chicken burger at dinner was plain with just one small frozen onion ring.
A warm, welcoming spot with good food and friendly service—definitely worth a visit if...
Read moreWell I was in here for some dinner with my partner. I got what was meant to be fresh scampi and chips. When it arrived I realised it was frozen scampi like u would buy in the supermarket or from a frozen catering company the chips where also frozen skin on fries. The mixed salad was mixed leaves a lot of them with one slice of tomato and a drizzle of balsamic. This cost me 15 euros I think which was ridiculous. If it was fresh battered scampi as the menu stated then it would of been worth it. But it wasn't so it was a rip off really. My partner got a club sandwich which she liked but it was 15 euro also and for a sandwich in salou that's a bit of a rip off also. It was a long wait for the food and the bar wasn't even busy. But I found the wait in other restaurants in salou similar. All in all next time I'm in salou I probably...
Read moreOur favorite bar of all the times I’ve been to salou! Beautiful friendly Irish Scottish & English Staff - very welcoming greeted with smiles always. I was in salou for a week and ate out of here most of our time I think we must of tried nearly everything on the menu - Always delicious and tasty and well worth every cent. One of the cleanest bar you will find in salou - the staff were on top of it always with a lovely fresh clean smell in bar and toilets always had toilet roll and hand towel. You can see into their kitchen, which I love to be able to see. Entertainment was brilliant done by an Irish man 4 nights and Scottish man 3 nights - both did a great show Loved everything about this place! We will most definitely be back again! Thank you for making our...
