After spending half of our Holiday searching for a spot where to have dinner we found cacio e pepe! From that day on the decision was made. 😍 lovely quiet place in the middle of the yumbo center where you don’t get dragged from the street, so refreshing. 😅 for the upcoming days we are almost the whole menu, and their daily changing specialties. Bresaola with Ricotta pistachio rocher (never heard of before), carpaccio, parmigiana and vitello tonnato just to name a few of their great starters. All with a singular taste to them self outstanding. And then those fantastic Pasta dishes. We had the lasagne on three different occasions, superb 😍but also spaghetti vongole and a real carbonara (ma no! La panna no! 😂😂😂) but also meat lovers are in the right place. Perfectly grilled tenderloin green pepper sauce, smooth and spicy and I ordere the sauted spinach and got even asked how I preferred it (butterd or garlic and chili) the chef really understands his products. I could go on forever but all I really wanted to say is. Thanks for the great opportunity to eat at your table ❤️ if we ever get back to Gran Canaria we definitely stopp by for just a minor snack 😅😋😉
Tantissimi auguri e continuate così...
Read moreWe were so hungry and devoured our delicious hot pizzas at a table willingly arranged for us as we entered - as a group of 8 people. What excellent service! It feels like coming home. We were served a great red wine which was at an ambient temperature, just as we like it. There is always a friendly welcome here on the terrace of the Yumbo centre. The food arrived very quickly and the staff were very professional and keen to make sure that the dishes were correct and that everyone was satisfied with their meal . The piquante olive oil is also a welcome addition / addiction !! Thank you for a great meal at the centre of our carnival celebration last weekend. The chupitos of chilled limonchello were a dream 💛💛 and we always leave you, wanting to return again soon! Highly...
Read moreMassively disappointed, food for the price was pretty abysmal tbh I asked for Amatriciana which wasn't on the menu but was told it's an Italian chef so that won't be a problem. Using dried pasta, no choice of type of pasta, pizza came out and was cold. Bill total for a pizza and 3 pasta dishes plus 3 drinks was €80 for that standard of food I would be saying it should be €45-50 max and even that I wouldn't be happy with the standard of food. If that chef is Italian I'm sure he wouldn't even give this standard of food to his friends or family. After reading other reviews I had high expectations to be massively let down.
Also one of the waiters attitude was pretty bad and had little interest in offering a good service. The other woman was...
