We have been eating at this restaurant for around twenty years. The food is as good as it always has been, however, the service this evening was average, at best. This is most disappointing because we always used to receive a warm, friendly welcome. This evening, we were left waiting so long on arrival that we didn't order our usual bottle of fizz (Raventos De Nit) which, incidentally, is no long available. Then we had to wait more than half an hour for our starters. Our main course and dessert arrived promptly but only one of our dessert plates was cleared away after we had finished eating, leaving the other dessert plates at the table. We then asked for the bill and waited far too long for it to arrive. After it finally arrived, once again, we were left waiting for someone to attend to us with the card machine. In the end, we resorted to leaving the table to go to the bar to pay the bill, which I have never had to do here before. At that point, we were offered a digestif, as is customary, however, we refused on the basis that the drink is always offered at table. When asked if the food was good, I made it very clear that it was, however, this was the wrong question. Unfortunately, we had to resort to withholding the generous tip we are accustomed to leaving to make the point that the service was simply not good enough, especially when the bill was hundreds of Euros. To be honest, we were devastated by our experience because we usually spend the last night of our holidays dining at this restaurant. After this most disappointing experience, we will now need to find somewhere else to eat. I'm left feeling uncertain about future visits because I can no longer rely on what was once a guaranteed warm, friendly and attentive service. There are many more restaurants in the resort that offer both excellent food...

Where to begin! Stepped into the restaurant, really great welcoming, beautiful pretentious restaurant! Restaurant for those who want to impress but also for those willing to have a nice seafood! Starting by brad and butter ( cannot be faulty as it's not been done in the premises) oysters, nice, meaty but when we asked what type of oysters were they, we got as a reply:I don't know I am new and never got back to us! Followed by the octopus, overcooked as the potatoes served with it and missing seasoning, using the right olive oil could upgrade your game! Razor clams should have been cleaned properly and again seasoning and love was missing.we had another starter but as it was so blow minded that I cannot recall! So Imagen... As a main course we had seafood paella! What a mistake! Overcooked rice, tasteless, the prawns where so overcooked that I could bounced them like a ball! So the paella went back almost untouched! So never again! All this and a bottle of terras gaudas 146€ . Which I am happy to pay, but I would be happy to pay if it was nice!. Basically I love food, I know what I am eating and also know what to expect! Ended up going to grab a burger to fill full...

Looks like a clean and nice restaurant with professional staff, but the experience was not so pleasant. They have menus in many languages, but are unfortunately not able to explain it or offer guidance with the food. I ordered Grilled prawns from Huelva at a price of 23.30 euros. Clearly you would think that a main course comes with a side order for that price!??? A plate of overcooked prawns was all I got… My son ordered the Gratin spider crab Txangurro, and that was not either explained it was a soup… After being served the food, no one paid us any attention! Not asking how the food was, not offering more drinks! I had to WAVE to the waiter to get his attention. If they didn’t like the looks of us, they should have turned us away at the door! Or you treat all customers the same (they were swarming around the other guests around us…). After complaining I got another dish of monkfish that was lovely! Ate quickly as the rest of the family were done and got up and left. Won’t be back.

I would not come again, as they are guilty of the “cardinal sin” of being terrible value for money 😬 I had the Avocado and Prawn starter, but what the menu doesn’t say (in any of the many languages) is that it comes drenched in a disgusting Thousand Island dressing. I had to dig around to find actual chunks of avocado and the 6 prawns that were drowned in there. As a main, I had ordered the garlic sautéed clams, which literally made me laugh when it arrived at the table, as it was perhaps 12-15 clams… that was it… €27 😆 I’m in no way a cheapskate, I always spend the majority of my money while traveling on food, but this is such a joke 😆 Subtracting two stars on service for letting me wait 15 minutes to actually pay, even though the bill was presented very promptly, and one waitress obviously being sick, and sneezing in the dining area. For over priced seafood in Gran Canaria, I’m sure there is nowhere better to go.
