Pica Pica is a hidden gem in Playa del Inglés, perfectly located within walking distance for most in the area. The cosy and intimate atmosphere immediately makes you feel at ease, with its thoughtful layout offering a great sense of privacy—ideal for family gatherings, catching up with friends, or even a romantic date night.
The real highlight, though, is the service. The staff go above and beyond to make you feel welcome, treating every guest like an old friend. They take the time to explain the menu in detail, creating a personal and homely dining experience that sets Pica Pica apart.
The food is simply delicious. The garlic prawns stand out with their rich, deep flavours, while the Saganaki cheese and meatballs are equally delightful. The portion sizes are perfect for tapas, with six or seven plates for two making for a satisfying meal. The Chef’s Selection menu is a fantastic choice, offering a variety of the best dishes for just €30—a great value for the quality.

Read moreWe went here based upon lots of really good reviews. To start we had a Greek salad (delicious), Serrano ham, a Greek cheese dish (can’t remember its name) and some garlic bread - this was all very tasty. Unfortunately the next round didn’t really live up to expectations.

The chorizo tasted more like seasoned beef - I’ve certainly never tasted chorizo like that before. We also had prawns, potatoes in mojo sauce and padron peppers which were all ok. The sangria and beer was nice.
The service can’t be faulted. All of the staff were very helpful and friendly. Unfortunately the food lets them down. The bill came to about €90 which would have been ok if the...
Read moreThe last time we came to Maspalomas in 2017 we really wanted tapas. We went to a tapas place that was highly recommended but turned out highly overrated. Pica Pica is by far as good as any taps I’ve ever had. Kiri the host and his family are Greek and they blend Spanish tapas with Greek Mezze that yields a virtual cornucopia of explosions of flavour. The Totilla was world class. The dates in bacon succulent and bursting with flavour. My partner would have gladly died in a vat of the prawns in garlic. If you like rabbit this is the place for you. And we were given stuffed aubergines, Spanish Coffe and ice cream all in the house. The service was outstanding and Kiri and his dad friendly and engaging. Smile for you photo that will be displayed on their Facebook...
