La Cocina de Flor de Vainilla Pizza Pasta y Tapas — Restaurant in San Bartolomé de Tirajana

We recently had a meal at this restaurant and unfortunately experienced food poisoning after consuming a seafood pasta dish. Given that we traveled that day, severe puking and diarrhea on the plane is not how we imagined our vacation to end. After sending an email to the restaurant expressing my concerns and requesting a refund for the cost of our meal, I have received a response that it was not a poisoning, but a virus, which I doubted since the symptoms and the fact that both of us got it within the same time point to food poisoning. I assume they used bad shrimp in a tortellini, it is easy to overlook in a paste form.

After my insisting on a refund (which is now not a question of money, but a principal), they just ignored me. It is disappointing to see that the restaurant has no respect to their customers, especially given their previous reputation for good customer service. I hope that the restaurant takes this matter seriously and addresses the issue to ensure the safety and well-being of their customers...

I came here last year my self and my girlfriend and our daughter and if I'm honest I couldn't wait to get back this year the service was excellent the staff are so friendly welcoming and attentive and the service is only matched by the food I've since been to London Paris and have not eaten from a restaurant that serves food as good as this place the starter was exquisite and the Steak o ordered well to be blunt I've not had a nicer Steak in my life both times I visited I will miss rhus place ontill next year and if I'm honest I would return to gran canaria solely to eat from this restaurant its 10/10 dining experience from start to finish and the fresh food prepared in the restaurant is unrivalled by any other place on the island in my experience shout out to our waiter Johnny he was a gentleman and was a great part of our dining experience can't wait to...

I've been to this restaurant quite a few times now I live in Ireland so any time I come to Gran Canaria I make it my business to visit Pepperone🔥 on this Occasion it was my Girlfriends birthday and Special thanks to Luciano our waiter who I managed to pass on a message discreetly and he accommodated us he was fantastic as he brought a desert out with a candle and sang happy birthday with each visit to this Restaurant we've never been disappointed and the staff are absolutely brilliant 💯 The food is exemplary some of the best I've ever eaten can't wait to get back to gran Canaria just to visit Pepper one thank you guys for the most pleasant dining experience I've ever had hopefully see...
