I have the habit of checking customers feedback before going in any restaurant. La Sirena has very good reviews, so we went there for a dinner. My partner had fried sole fish and I had sole with sea food stuffed on it. I was under the weather while having dinner and of course I need to eat as I was starving. Settle everything, but before we left I felt sick until I threw up all the food that I ate that night. Went back to the hotel very weak, sad and confused. That's not what I expected from eating in that restaurant. The next morning I ended up in emergency hospital for 2 hours. I was assessed, got blood test and had 2 bags of IV fluids. I was in hotel bed for 1 day and half recovering. The hospital admission asked me if I would like to lodge a complaint about my experience against the restaurant, but I refused. All I wanted was to get quick medical attention as I was really in bad state. Now, I'm back on my feet and this coming Thursday, I'm looking forward to coming back to Ireland. Lesson learned - cannot recommend and will...

We visited twice, two days on the run. The first time we visited the staff really couldn’t do enough for us, made us feel welcome, allowed us to take the time with the kids, made us feel comfortable by giving us extra seats and space, the food on the first day was amazing, Tuna Steak for my wife, I had the chicken Milanese and the boys had spaghetti Bol. They even got the kids free pudding. We were so impressed by the first visit that although our overall bill was €45, we tipped €20 and everyone came and thanked us.

The second visit, literally the day after, we had the opposite service. Felt rushed (although not busy), food wasn’t nice and overall really disappointed. I think the bit that really got to us both is that when we got up to go, one of the guys came looking for a tip on the table. Very disappointed and we...

Honestly a very mid restaurant. I ordered a ceasar salad. What i recieved was not a ceasar salad it was just a tomato salad with bread crumbs. The sauce wasn’t the usual thing that you expect in a ceasar salad it was more like just mayonaise. The waiter that we had was kind of not interested and was kind of rude in a way. I could say he just didn’t care at all. The view of the dunes is nice but…the tables were not clean, the floors were filthy and the cushions on the chairs were dirty. It would most definitely be better without them. If you want a quick bite this place is okay but either way would not come back just because its very mid. If i could i would give...

The place is great, and the service is good and friendly. Prices are similar to the rest to the area, but quality might be higher than your average restaurant around. I, as usual, went for the local speciality and ordered a grilled squid as that's what people should do when visiting other coutrys. Loved the food, but the house red vine might not be to my satisfaction. Overall, i rate this great and recommend it to everyone. PS, weekend evenings better book in advance as most of the tables are either busy or pre-booked.
