Update: 2 weeks ago I filled customer survey, that said I get a coupon shortly. I mailed customer care about that, and they said they forwarded the issue to somebody else. Nothing since then. There went the last star.
Left feeling bad. Not so good experience as couple other Hard Rock Cafes in other countries. Got table after couple employees, and waiting couple minutes (there were several available indoors, but music being loud some wanted to change outdoors). Floor was sticky, probably old drinks there. Orders taken ok, got drinks and after some time food too. Before even eating, shift or some like that manager came asking is the food okay. While she was waiting, father tried to cut beef, so does not feel very tender (not sure about the correct word, but expecting well cooked, soft and almost melting in the mouth meat). She said/asked it is good, like what was ordered, well done. It seemed okay, and I thought it would be, feeling pressurized, saying it seems okay. She said to contact if there is anything... My sliders were okay. But father tried to eat the beef, it being hard to cut, and on other side it did not even look well done (inner being different color, lighting of the place being too neon, colors of the photo being odd, but I think unequal color of the inner beef still noticeable). Said to the waiter, and he asked the manager, that said nothing can be done, because problems should be seen at the first cut, and now it was partly eaten and cold, kitchen can make mistakes, but those should be noticed at the first cut. I and we rarely visit this kind of places, so cannot really tell well just by looking is the food really good or not, but when paying double/triple what normally when eating out, expecting the food to be better, or good at least nevertheless. I cannot tell by names, how meat is prepared or done, but expecting the chef knows how to make it good nevertheless. Maybe we (father) took wrong type of food from the menu, maybe that cannot be made melting in the mouth, but father said some cooks can make even worse pieces more juicier. And still remembering how good foods were in other Hard Rock Cafes. Now I just wanted to pay and leave, father was amazed how that piece was even so expensive, 29 € (I knew the prize from the menu, no surprise on that, just what you...
Read moreWhilst on holiday here with my boyfriend for our anniversary. We decided to eat here for the night of our anniversary.
The atmosphere at a Hard Rock Cafe is always good. Never a complaint about it that.
Severs were friendly overall. A mistake was made with our order when it arrived so I asked for help to get the correct order. At first it felt like the blame was being pinned on us for the mistake by the way he was explaining what he thought we meant when he took our order. But later on the waiter apologised a couple of times and I think he had realised how the mistake happened and how things were misunderstood. After our bill had been paid he apologised a lot and it sounded like there was a lot going on at the restaurant and we weren’t mad at all as our order had been corrected. We did feel bad for him and understood there was a lot going on. We appreciated the order being corrected for us.
The food itself was very disappointing and bland. The only thing I can say is the chips were very tasty and crispy. The burger sauce was also nice and I didn’t expect to like it but I did. Everything else on the burger was ok but the actual steak burger itself was bland and unseasoned which tainted the rest of the burger. The sauce and everything on it made it taste ok but the actual burger just made it feel really disappointing. Especially for how expensive it is at around €17-€18. It was not worth it at all. One of the most disappointing burgers I have tasted especially as all I could think about was the money I spent on it.
Normally would also go for dessert after a meal, but the burger put me off having more stuff here. Saw it being served and it did look nice but I couldn’t after the burger and the brownie was also €12 which I thought was a lot. So we left. The shop was also closed on the way out which was disappointing as we wanted to have a look.
Overall, staff were nice, food not so much. This night was a very special one and after our meal I felt so bad for my boyfriend and kept apologising as I felt guilty that this what I had picked for our anniversary meal and it was our first holiday together abroad. So it was a very special occasion and after the quality of the food here I had felt like I ruined the day because of it by picking here to eat. I still feel...

I made reservations over the phone since online won’t let me on the same evening. While one the phone all seemed fine, but at the restaurant they had no reservations under my name or number.
In the restaurant in our way to be seated we had to step over pieces of bread and food leftovers (this should have warned us enough).
Seated we are helped by a really friendly and helpful waiter. So we decide to order our food and drinks (it is a hardrock café, it can’t be that bad).
The cowboy steak I wanted was sold out. (18:30, so start of the evening)
We order a shared plate of nachos to share with our 2 kids. With the message please take you’re time, we want to enjoy some drinks and have a nice evening.
Nachos, good!
Then 2/3 true our nachos and halfway true or first drinks (about 10-15 minutes) we recieve our first main dish, about 5 minutes later the second main dish (all of this without any cutlery btw, nachos we used our hands).
No nice slow enticing drinks for us.
Now I start to notice our table is sticky en dirty and the chairs paint is coming loose (actually stained my son’s clothes).
We eat our food witch is decent enough, atleast I thought…
I start noticing my son isn’t enjoying his original burger so I ask him about it and eventually taste his burger. The most dry and plain tasting burger I ever had.
But now the real reason for this long story.
We told the waiter our food was fine but the burger was really bad. He was nice about it and was really sorry. Then a lady (hostess) came to our table and out of nothing started defending and plain arguing with us that the burger wasn’t bad. I immediately got a really bad vibe from this “lady”.
I never, ever experienced such bad customer experience!
I’m really sorry about the staff that have to work with her.
Again I’m normally never complaining our leaving a reference like this but this was my worst restaurant experience ever and for sure not worth the 100€ I had to pay.
Family of four, 2 kids age 8 & 10.
Ps. The way the hostess started to react to my 10 year old son made me so angry, glad I kept my cool but I would never ever recommend to go to this version of...
