Came by here today even with the bad reviews and someone didn't recommend them. I got two good jarmon sandwich right what I wanted to eat for my flight and a few snacks. Had quite a good selection of food.

En la zona de Playa del Inglés, de tener que elegir supermercado, yo elijo Gordillo. Abarrotados están los supermercados de Gordillo, tipo tienda de ultramarinos, que me gusta el nombre, además para elegir un Spar, Superdino,... de esos hay en cualquier lugar, mientras que Gordillo es más del Sur. Tampoco tienes que fijarte si es express o alguna de estas disculpas para cobrarte más.

En la zona de Playa del Inglés, de tener que elegir supermercado, yo elijo Gordillo. Abarrotados están los supermercados de Gordillo, tipo tienda de ultramarinos, que me gusta el nombre, además para elegir un Spar, Superdino,... de esos hay en cualquier lugar, mientras que Gordillo es más del Sur. Tampoco tienes que fijarte si es express o alguna de estas disculpas para cobrarte más.

Price tags on shelves are lower than prices they charge you at the till. I took a picture of price tag at the shelve and showed the girl at checkout as a proof she was overcharging me. Another staff member quickly removed the cheaper price tag from shelve while we talked at the till like it was never there. They dismissed the picture I just took like it was me who was cheating. Although it is a spacious supermarket with a wide variety of products, I didn't really find anything that was suitable and that I could have found just as easily at another nearby supermarket a little further up the hill. Most of the time I only bought the essentials like water or biscuits.

They only serve customers at one payment counter and you may have to wait a little bit longer.

A very convenient small supermarket. If you are staying in an apartment close by you can get all the basic groceries from here. There's a small bakery section with fresh bread. If you are looking to buy candy souvenirs there's a large enough selection of those too. Cheaper than at...
