Literally the day after my review, they changed the menu because flakes don't like mushrooms.

The new menu you get a hash brown and 1 bacon less. I brought it to the attention to the tall slim guy as I already knew what I wanted but I didn't know the menu changed till the food came. He was super nice about it and brought me some mushrooms. After paying I asked that when I return and I have the dish I originally had, he said yes absolutely.

Next time around I return and the women serves me who appears English.

I brought the menu change and I asked can I have the original? She said yes.

A gentleman then brings my food off the new menu....i just couldn't rise to repeat myself again! Not only that, It wasn't overly busy but the women was getting herself in a tizz for no reason. My mate asked for a coffee and she said one moment I'm busy and with someone.... They later asked for the bill and again said she's busy with someone. I even asked for the bill and never got it and I ended up going to the till to pay.

Not entirely sure why the atmosphere has changed soo quickly from my first visit.

That said, I've taken my breakfast visit elsewhere.

However, us British like like proper sausage and bacon.

So if you want a proper breakfast? Buddies is where you are...

Unfortunately, I can safely say that this was the worst bar I have experienced in Gran Canaria due to the staff. They were antagonistic and confrontational, and dramatised a scenario that was completely unnecessary.

The bar staff were condescending towards a non binary person, pulling them from the toilet and creating such an uncomfortable scenario, accusing others who defended them of being in the wrong and then antagonising them when challenged.

Several customers were threatened with ‘security being called’ to intimidate them and cause them to leave.

Ultimately, our group had to leave due to the bar staff being so confrontational. Truly horrible experience and the bar staff should be ashamed, given their bahaviour I would imagine they would contest this.

We’ve had such a great experience in every other bar with beautiful people, such a shame that Buddies bar were so disgusting and created such a horrible experience...

Called in the other day for a quick pint whilst wandering round the Yumbo, then yesterday for a snack and a beer to avoid the rain! Service was great we got served by a lovely young fellow Northern Irish person :) the food was lovely! My partner had a big burger and I had a chicken pesto wrap that came with chips- both generous portions and tasty! Seems like a chilled out place during the day to call into so would definitely recommend :) will probably be back before...
