Steakhouse El Rancho — Restaurant in San Bartolomé de Tirajana

We ordered our starters, chicken wings and stuffed jalapeños. I'm not telling a lie they were delivered less than 60 seconds later.

The chicken wings were semi warm over cooked and the stuffed chilies were also semi warm and very unappetising we didn't finish either.

For our main course I ordered BBQ spare ribs and my partner ordered enchiladas an these both arrive one minute after our starters.

Ribs were warm but over cooked and enchiladas were very disappointing, neither of us finished our meal and we just wanted to get out of the place as quick as possible.

I would say the worse meal of our holiday and total spoiled our night.

My advice is to avoid this place and walk around corner and try El Greco.

We arrived on our holiday and decided to eat at El Rancho. Everything was fine till we recieved our food which wasnt correct. My foo was pork escalope with a creamy pepporcorn sauce and roast potatoes. There was no roast potatos only fries. My husband had asked for the same sauce as me on his but there was none. We asked for the order to be put right which they did and when we left we gave a tip. 2 nights later we went back only to find a cool reception and when we asked for a menu after a long wait we got 1 not 2 and no one came to take our order. Really disappointed, just ate here and whilst the place is lovely I found a hair in my burger which put me and my partner off straight the way. When the waitress came I told her and showed her the hair, said we were done and asked for the bill. She apologised and walked off, came back 10 mins later with the bill to be charged full price when both burgers were only half eaten after finding the hair, no discussion no nothing.
