Read moreStopped here last week for a coffee and thought it was worth a try for lunch. Having walked from Puerto del Carmen, we were looking forward to a nice lunch. The menu, in both Spanish and English, was interesting, divided into sections such as Toasties, Wraps, Sandwiches, Sharing Plates, Burgers and Poke Bowls with desserts and a few salads. Lots of dishes come with sweet potato fries which you don't see often. We opted for two Crispy Chicken Poke Bowls. These were excellent, filled with shredded cabbage, cauliflower, broccoli, avocado, courgette, endamame beans, Wakame, mango, Japanese rice and, of course, a decent amount of breaded chicken fillet. This restaurant has a fabulous setting, overlooking Playa Honda beach. A lovely place to enjoy a pleasant and scenic lunch or snack. Sorry, no photos as my wife took the pic and I...
Read moreDecided to stop for a drink and a bite to eat. Good points, tabels available and large beer only €2.5. Bad points, after waiting for a while the wife had to ask a passing member of staff for menus which to be honest arrived quite quickly afterwards and so did the drinks. At this point a spanish guy sat at the table next to us, who was served 2 beers had his food order taken and bread delivered to the table whilst we waited. Then a couple arrived and sat a couple of tables away and ordered drinks and food whilst we still waited. At this point we gave up trying to attract there attention and decided to leave. Just as we were about to get up, a member of staff came across and asked us what we wanted to eat? We kindly said nothing got up left the drinks money on the table and left, never to return again. We walked down the front and stopped of at Casa Tere, were we received a warm, friendly and quick service and wonderful...
