We went for lunch without a reservation being non weekend (I would not recommend doing so in a weekend).
Service was attentive and corteous, although seemed a little overbooked even when the place was really not so full. we need to clase them for the wine, bread,...the main course arrived with 15 mins difference for each of us.
The food was a mixed bag, overall I would say it was correct but not expectacular. Cocido was ok, there are better ones but also much worse. Afterhaving it my wife realised that some items present in other tables were missing in her dish (Piparras, marcillo,...).
My fish was quite correct again not out of this world but not OK even it was slighty overcooked.
Bread was appelling, we need to ask for bread a couple of times because they were "making it". what arrived, late, was a inedible bread roll that crumbled just with touching it. typical result of frozen and unfreezen in a oven too hot. Really dissapointing.
The cheese and white chocolate cake was really good for the dessert.
The first floor were we eat was with a modern look that is no my personal favorite style, but this is totally subjective and display a interest on having a renovated look contrasting the traditional style that once have...
Read moreI recently had the pleasure of dining at Las Viandas in San Lorenzo, and it was an outstanding experience from start to finish. The quality of the food was exceptional — every dish was fresh, perfectly cooked, and full of flavor. You can truly taste the care and attention that goes into every ingredient.
The service was just as impressive. The staff were attentive, friendly, and genuinely committed to making sure every guest felt welcome and well taken care of. Their recommendations were spot-on and added to an already wonderful evening.
I know the restaurante too for breakfast, the spanish omelette is a must.
If you’re in San Lorenzo and looking for a place that combines top-quality cuisine with warm, professional service, Las Viandas is an absolute must. I can’t...
