Stepping into Basqueland was like being transported back to Austin. The industrial-modern decor, eclectic music akin to what you’d hear at The Mohawk, and a striking tiger mural set the right vibrant brewpub tone.

I asked for a beer flight to sample their offering and it came as five full beers. Lesson learned.

The thoughtful bartender took the time to carefully note each beer's name on a tablet that look like a charcuterie board, big enough for normal-sized glasses.

My top pick has to be the Pot of Gold. It's not as piney as most hazy IPAs, making it delightfully easy to drink and gentle on the stomach - think Electric Jellyfish.

Of course they serve Ramen and Tacos. I didn't taste them, but they looked tempting. Plus, the kitchen seems to be open all the time, a rarity in San Sebastian.

If you're yearning for a break from the traditional taverna beer scene, try Basqueland and...

I was a bit shocked that they make DANDAN noodles, which i come from, Chongqing Sichuan province. Its quite well, a real surprise. I would definetly go back! Here i would like to share some experiences: 1, if you use fresh chilies which burned with sunflower oil instead of pickled sherreded chili, that would be much better, it would be less salty and a great flavor of chili. 2, it would be nice if add a bit more sesame paste. 3, a little bit sugar added Thank you guys, i had a taste of my hometown which...

We had dinner yesterday at Izakaia, delicious as usual but this time it was extra. We were lucky enough to get the very last daily special shrimp taco serving left. If I were single I would wed those shrimp tacos in holy ceremony and honor their existence every single day. I would tell them how sweet, how tender, how perfectly crispy, how juicy and how beautifully perfect they are. Even after death do us part I would keep loving them in eternity. Hey shrimp tacos please if you're seeing this give me...

Was staying in the old town but as a craft beer fan I recognized this brewery name from a beer fest years ago and decided to make walk over. The place itself has a perfect craft brewery vibe. Small and cozy, beer list on a homemade chalk boards and of course a great staff to help navigate ur visit. We stopped by shortly after open and the bartender was able to recommend a few different options including a beer that wasn’t on the list yet along with a bao bun that wasn’t listed either. Both were amazing.

This whole street was recommended for food by the bike rental guy on the other side of town (Basque Epic)… stumbled on this restaurant as back home in the UK we love a hazy IPA or DIPA. They had a hazy on board, great friendly service from the American lady and three little Bao as a snack before we continued our journey! Sadly riding or we’d have had more… intrigued to try the Ramen so may visit again before the end of my trip! Really enjoyed!!!!
