Simply put: unmatchable. It's been a while since I've been there but the calamari sandwich (bocata bravo) they serve is from outer space (at least years ago it was, I think it has changed quite a bit). The mussel variety is decent and to be honest the price-quality you receive is matchless. If you get mejillones (mussels), go for something a bit spicier, totally worth it.
Probably my main issue is that they are a chain now, so, much of the quality that we used to get when we were teenagers is probably gone, however, that does not mean the quality is bad. It's just not as amazing as it used to be.
If you're vegan, you can only get the pimientos de padrón. Vegetarians could also get the bravas, but...

There are no seats or tables, you come in and have people standing at the bar or on the other side by a counter. The selection is quite easy as you have pictures of the different types of mussel dishes. When you order the men behind the bar shout your order to the kitchen. The mussels are served very fresh and taste amazing! Prices are really fair and comparably cheap in comparison with other restaurants or bars in the area. Feels like a place that tries to stay true to tradition and serve fresh and good food...

Their main sauce to go with those ingredients is a mix between mayonnaise (maybe even garlic mayonnaise, not sure) and traditional Spanish hot sauce 'brava'. They also have other sauce options, but I would say that's the golden one.
The service is super fast, so even if you see a lot of people inside, if you look closer, there are no chair or stools to sit on. That's because people eat and leave, so you're sure to get a spot soon! Be patient, because it's...
