Really great local bistro off the beaten path. The food is homey and nothing fancy but creative and you can tell the owners take pride in their business.

We had the best croquette (with jamòn) in all of San Sebastián here. If you like vermouth, this is the spot to go.

The service is amazing. Even though we are tourists and don’t speak a lot of Spanish, we were treated very kindly. Between the broken English and Spanish, we were able to have conservations and recommendations. The owner also gave us a free pintxo at the end.

Lugar renovado hace poco tiempo, en el barrio de Gros, ya hacía el final del mismo , en una esquina, El Eguzki ofrece una variedad de 20 Vermut diferentes, cada uno con su nombre propio, es menester, pedir ayuda al personal, ya que la diferencia sutil de uno a otro , mererce la pena saber , para tomar una buena decisión. The food was amazing and very reasonably priced. The list of the vermouths really gives the choice to pair the drink with the pinxos. Service - faultless. One person serving and preparing all the food and drinks, being attentive at the same time. You can see it’s a locals place.
