Ñam Restaurantes - Gros — Restaurant in San Sebastián

We are a group of 10-15 who have been coming to this bar every Friday for more than 3 years and we have not encountered any problem whatsoever. However, it’s been twice that we have been asked to leave the place because we "overcrowded" the restaurant, without accepting any other options such as putting some tables together, which has always been done without any impediments. We had two main plates of merluza with bread and a txakoli wine. Cost 37 euro. The dishes were sadly a disappointment. The plates were cold, some of the food was cold, the sauce was similar to school gravy, the bread was stodgy and pasty. On the plus side, the staff were kind and patient as we spoke limited Spanish and Basque. The toilets were basic, with a broken seat and no hand cleaner left. Super aggressive waiter. Some random guy gave me a beer close to the shop and I was drinking wine I bought at this place. And then the crazy waiter freaked out and insulted me in spanish.
