TITLE: Precisely What Cafes Are For

WHEN: We noshed there October 2019

WHAT: Outdoor cafe on Boulevard Zumardia. When you see several outdoor cafes next to each other on a broad boulevard in Europe, GENERALLY, what they are good at is a place to sit and have a coffee, beer or wine and some sort of snack. Maybe breakfast, if they are open at breakfast hours.

They are not for fine dining experiences for the most part - unless you get referred to one by a local for a specific specialty

MEAL: Just get something to drink and snacks here. Olives and the cheese plate were just the ticket to have with beers.

2 stars because we had great service, otherwise it'd be one. We were a party of four and honestly all of our food was barely warm. Lasagne was the worst we'd ever had. It was still shaped liked the container it came out of, barely any flavor to it. Same as the beef cheeks. Very tender however came out almost cold. Albondigas had tomato paste that tasted like it came out of the tube. Our bill was 67 Euros including drinks. We only enjoyed the drinks, terribly disappointed...

We had the absolute pleasure of being served by Andoni, and he truly made our experience unforgettable. He was incredibly attentive, kind, and genuinely caring.
